It all started when of my cousins asked if I would film their wedding. Although it was not easy and I definitely had a lot to learn, I accepted. Years and thousands of hours of video later I am pursuing my dream. Hello, my name is Zachary Sowers and I would love the opportunity to work with you on capturing your project. I love filming weddings, and including my couples in the editing process. I am happy to announce we shoot LGBTQ+ weddings and spaces, and hope to be joining you very soon to capture your wedding day. My beautiful wife and I have been married since 2021 and look forward to inviting baby Athena into the world in January 2023!

As far as I know, I am the only videographer that fully involves my couples in crafting their wedding film by allowing choices in color and music. Heck, if you dont like a clip I chose in the video just let me know, and ill take it out and replace it with something else! I've filmed over 100 wedding films in many different states, and my reviews speak for themselves. I am experienced, and respectful, but also fun and I am great at making films that capture and portray emotion.

    10/10 recommend to book Zach

    Zach was just a joy to work with! He was timely in his responses and a huge help easing my Type A chaotic personality both on the wedding day and the many months before hand. He captured the most beautiful video of my husband and I’s wedding day involving all of our speeches, our first dance, our trucker hat throw and our friends and family on the dance floor. It brought tears to my husband and I’s seeing the wedding video and we can’t wait to show it to our future children! 10/10 I would highly recommend Zach!

    10/10 Videographer!

    I truly don’t think there’s enough good things to say about Zach. His patience and kind heart made my husband and I more than comfortable on our wedding day. We’ve never really been on video before so we were nervous about having a videographer at first. From the moment I shook Zach’s hand and met him we knew we made the best choice. It rained our entire wedding day and if you watched our video and hadn’t known that you would’ve never known. The shots he got despite the weather leave us so grateful. Just when we thought we couldn’t appreciate him more, we got our videos back. Every person I’ve showed our footage to are floored. They all say “it looks like a movie”. He captured our love so perfectly. Our photographer unfortunately did not get any shots of our memorial table. We were heartbroken until we realized Zach got plenty of footage of our memorial table for us. That in itself is worth 5 stars. The phenomenal videos is just even more reason. He even went back and edited our film after I wanted to make changes and had the new video back to us in 24 hours. His organization and talent deserves recognition and any bride still needing a videographer shouldn’t hesitate to book Zach Sowers. Zach, Austin and I can’t thank you enough for everything.

    Seamless and exactly what we wanted!

    Zach was great and so easy to work with! He was easy to communicate with, thoughtful with his planning and captured our day perfectly! One of the most important things to us was to feel comfortable with who would be filming us and our family on our big day and Zach was just that! We highly recommend him to any couple getting married!

    Exactly what we wanted and more! Eternally grateful to have these memories captured so artfully. Zach went above and beyond even jumping in to help our photographer with an amazing floating veil shot! He approached me as soon as he arrived - somehow finding me in the chaos of getting ready - introduced himself/gave me a heads up of what he’d be doing and in doing so, established an easy going, yet structured vibe (exactly what I needed)! Also- the drone shots make the video. Our venue wouldn’t have gotten the justice it deserves without the drone shots.

    We loved Zach!!

    Zach was our videographer for our wedding. I have never been more pleased with a vendor. From the moment I contacted him he answered quickly and was so nice to talk to. He answered all my questions and more and accommodated for my family needs. It was like talking to a friend on the phone! The day of the wedding I didn’t even notice he was there. He knew the timeline of the day and had some great creative ideas for the video and for my photographer. When my video was sent to us my husband and I described it as a “Hollywood film”. I could not believe how good it was!!! Very impressed with his work and could not recommend him more.

All packages include drone coverage, as I am Part 107 licensed with the FAA as well as insured. Flight restrictions and weather conditions do apply.
I do not charge any travel expenses for events that are under 3 hours from Lancaster PA. In the event that the wedding is over 3 hours I just ask that the couple covers the cost of a modest hotel room for 1 night. For weddings where an airplane flight will be required I just ask that the couple covers flights and hotels.
The silver collection includes 1 filmmaker, while the gold and diamond collections include 2 filmmakers.
This is where I strive to help my couples. We require a 20% deposit and the remainder of the balance must be paid in full 1 week before the wedding. The cost of the wedding can also be split into up to 10 interest-free payments. The final balance must be paid 1 week before the wedding day. This helps my couples that want to pick a few add-ons, but can't afford to pay all at once.

The average turnaround is 2-4 weeks depending on the time of year, but In the busy season delivery can take up to 8 weeks.
High-quality audio is recorded by using lavalier microphones when possible. To capture DJ audio I use a 32-bit recorder that is all but foolproof. Needless to say, there are always at least 2 types of audio recording happening during your event. Listen to my audio and then go listen to the cheaper videographers. It makes a BIG difference.
The collaborative editing process is actually very simple. The couple gets to choose their color style from a list I provide, but we can get creative if you find another color style you like. The couple then gets to choose their song(s) from my licensing sites. A curated list is provided to help my couples find a song they love with little effort. I also can choose music or coloring for the couple if they would prefer.
Definitely! I am based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, but I am available for destination weddings worldwide. If your wedding is over 3 hours from Lancaster PA I just ask the couple to cover the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations.
Once you know your wedding date, I recommend reaching out as soon as possible about my availability. I film a limited number of weddings every year to ensure my couples receive the highest quality service, so my calendar typically fills up months in advance.
Yes! I am happy to send a copy of my certificate of liability insurance to your venue or any other vendors upon request.
I do keep umbrellas in my camera bag at all times to protect my gear and continue filming. In the case that conditions worsen, I will have to pause recording until conditions approve.
All footage I film is edited in-house by me personally.
You will be the first to view your wedding film. Then once your video is approved I will send a sharable link, and copies that you can share with friends and family.
