We knew we needed Ace Wedding DJs for our wedding this past June and they did not disappoint! Our lead DJ, Avery Echols worked closely with our other vendors to make the night run so smoothly. My husband and I truly did not have to think about anything and could just enjoy the night! Avery also CRUSHED the vibes!! After letting him know our top priority was making it a party and ensuring our guests had fun, he kept the dance floor packed all reception. “I'm not kidding. Stop looking for DJs, photo booths, etc. and just book Team Wedding Day. If they're not available or already booked, well then move your wedding. Yes you're looking to book a DJ, but what you don't realize you need is mics for the ceremony, lighting, an emcee who won't make your wedding cheesy, and more. Niko was so amazing to work with leading up to the event and includes so many things in one big package that it's so nice to just check things off in one swoop. Team Wedding Day had us covered back to front. Niko is so nice and kind on the phone, so when he started mixing sick-nasty beats during the dance party, I was like "OMG who is this guy!" He fit our vibe perfectly, followed our play/don't play list, and emceed our wedding like a true pro. Niko listens, but pushes back when he thinks something would work better from his experience and it was so nice to work with him. During the cocktail hour and diner, he was always keeping tabs with us, making sure we stayed on schedule, asking if we needed anything, etc. and it gave us so much confidence that things were running smoothly. Everyone at our wedding commented on how fun the dance floor was and it was 100% Niko. The photo booth was SUPER nice, much better than any I've ever used or seen before. And at the end of the night, they gave us a little album of every photo strip everyone had taken which was super unexpected but such a great surprise! All in all, one of the best vendors and decisions we made when planning our wedding. Can't recommend Niko and his team enough.”

“I've been to my fair share of weddings the last few years and I can definitively say that Yazz Events is one of the best live wedding bands I have ever seen. My calves were more sore the day after the wedding than when I ran the Chicago Marathon a few weeks prior. That's how hard I was dancing all night. We had a bilingual wedding (Spanish/English) and the MC, Hector, was able to speak and instruct guests in both languages. SO AWESOME! They also played the perfect blend of songs in both languages. Many of our Spanish speaking guests had not seen a live band like this before and they loved it. Amy, the owner, was amazing with planning and giving suggestions for the setlist. We also hired the jazz duo for our rehearsal dinner. They added such a calming presence to that night. 10/10 all around. Thank you Yazz Events!”

“Where can I even begin? Alex wasn’t just our dj, he pretty much helped us create a timeline for our entire day. He was our host, support system and truly helped us throw the best celebration. “From the moment we met with Eddie, we knew we found an absolute GEM. If you're looking for a DJ who values, cherishes and prepares for your wedding day as much as you do, you absolutely found him!!! My husband and I had a blended culture wedding, with a split of English & Spanish speakers. So, we knew that our guests would vary greatly in language and musical preferences. We searched high and low for someone who not only understood the event we were trying to put together, but was willing to take on the assignment. We told Eddie that priority #1 for our day was a packed dance floor and a welcoming environment for everyone to just immerse themselves in each others cultures. A tall order, but WOW did Eddie DELIVER!!! He had people dancing the ENTIRE night. Eddie's talent and unique skillset resulted in the perfect atmosphere for all of our favorite people. The music coordination, the lighting, the sound engineering, the energy of the entire evening... our guests have not stopped talking about how much fun our wedding was. All of this, of course, is thanks to Eddie!!! To help create our perfect day, Eddie met with us several times leading up to the wedding, and even helped out in ways beyond what you would expect from your DJ. He recommended an incredible Mariachi band to perform at our wedding and provided an amazing photobooth experience for our guests. He and his assistants are incredibly detailed, attentive, talented and personable. On top of all of that, it is actually impossible to be in a bad mood around Eddie. His joy and passion is totally infectious, and his energy truly set the tone for the entire day, our guests experience, and our experience as the bride and groom. Eddie, thank you so much for an incredible, unforgettable and perfect day. Communication was excellent throughout. Any questions we had were answered promptly and clearly, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. The performance itself was absolutely amazing. The band brought such incredible energy to the night and kept everyone on the dance floor from start to finish. We’ve received so many compliments from our guests about how great the music was and how much fun they had. The setlist was perfect, and their talent as musicians and entertainers really shone through. A special shoutout to Matt, who was awesome to work with – professional, friendly, and super organized. He made us feel completely confident going into the big day and delivered beyond our expectations. Also, Laura was a fantastic emcee!
