When I started photography I felt almost embarrassed that I was doing something, that at the time, seemed so cliche. I knew I had a lot of growing to do as a photographer and I was eager to learn. After a lot of prayers, I put my work out in the world to be critiqued and judged. I had a few critics but mostly, I had support and encouragement. All of a sudden I started receiving inquiries for engagements and graduation sessions. People actually wanted to pay me for doing something I love to do. It was like getting paid to go to the beach! Then, Helena Kaye Photography was created.

Since 2013, I’ve been capturing love stories in a way that’s timeless, authentic, and uniquely yours. Whether it’s a quiet elopement or a big celebration, my approach blends classic elegance with photojournalistic storytelling. More than photography, it's about building trust and celebrating love in all its beautiful forms—honoring every culture, story, and connection.
