When I left for college, My goal was to study business in order to operate my own Floral Business but I quickly lost track of that dream. The pandemic served as a wake up call for me just like it did for so many others. Allowing me to rediscover my love for flowers and all things beautiful. Bazarr Blossoms is more than a business its a passion that allows me to stay true to that teenager who once created and dreamed inside that high school classroom.

In 2016, I started looking for creative alternatives to fresh flowers. I saw an advertisement for WOOD flower arrangements and was intrigued. I quickly ordered a centerpiece and when it arrived, I was so amazed by the product that I took the flowers apart to see how they were made. It was fascinating to me that someone would think to use the wood from a plant to make flowers. Fast forward a couple months and I started ordering raw undyed flowers, dove in headfirst, and fell in love! When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! A Virginia native, I’ve been surrounded by nature my entire life, but never more so than when I spent summers on my Grandmother’s 300-acre farm in West Virginia. She raised me to appreciate nature’s beauty and explore what I could create myself. My Grandmother was a powerful woman, raising two babies after having been recently widowed, while also pioneering the farm and putting herself through law school.
