The Huntington Theatre

“We came across the Huntington Theatre very early during our venue search, but since the first visit and meeting with Esther we fell in love with the Maso Studio! We planned an unconventional wedding which involved merging Indian culture with a non-denominational western ceremony, and Esther, Abbie, Kat and the whole team made our vision come to life. They met with us as many times as we wanted, accommodated all of our odd requests, and helped our friends decorate the space on the day of. The bar team executed our Indian-style custom cocktails perfectly, and provided invaluable suggestions that made the cocktails memorable for all our guests. Since the Maso Studio had its own lighting and sound systems, we were able to make our wedding look and sound just the way we wanted. The team also helped us come up with lighting presets during the ceremony and reception. We cannot recommend the Huntington Theatre enough for your own dream wedding.”

“We hosted a rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Dillon’s in August. The location was great and the back bar was well sized for our group (20 for dinner and 80 for the party). The events coordinator worked with us to pick a menu and iron out logistics (mostly how to transition from dinner to party, and how much food to order, etc.), and was very transparent on pricing. All in all, the food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was lively – exactly what we wanted!”

“We absolutely loved having our wedding at Pagu! From the start, the chef and owner Tracy was incredibly responsive and she got back to us right away when we inquired about hosting our wedding at the restaurant. She shared a detailed event order with sample dishes and estimated charges, which really helped us get the ball rolling with our planning. When we were able to visit Boston (we're based out of state), Tracy personally gave us our initial walkthrough. The combination of the restaurant’s cozy interior and beautiful, spacious outdoor patio made Pagu the perfect venue for our 100-guest celebration. One of the biggest reasons we wanted a restaurant wedding was the food, and Pagu absolutely delivered! Amanda and Chris T. took great care of us during our food and drink tastings, and everything was truly fantastic. The string beans, chicken katsu, miso cod, and wagyu beef were standout dishes. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about them! Tracy’s custom hot honey biscuits were also a huge hit as a late-night snack, and both the double chocolate and strawberry cakes were delicious crowd-pleasers. Like many couples, we barely had time to eat during the whirlwind of the day, but we were so happy that Pagu prepared a to-go bag of all of our food and it was all still incredibly delicious, even the next day! As the big day approached, the team answered all our questions promptly and worked closely with us to rearrange the table layout so everyone could be seated comfortably. We held our rehearsal at the venue the day before, and Amanda was incredibly helpful in coordinating everyone and making sure we all felt confident and prepared for the ceremony. The Pagu team also went above and beyond to accommodate our last-minute requests (including pickleback shots and matcha cookie favors), which was deeply appreciated. Everything went off without a hitch on the actual wedding day. The transitions between ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner were all totally seamless, thanks to the coordination of Amanda, Chris, and Winson; it was clear that they are all seasoned pros at running a wedding, which helped us relax and enjoy the day worry-free! We can’t recommend Pagu highly enough for a wedding or special event! The food, the space, and, most importantly, the people made our day unforgettable and exceeded all expectations. We were incredibly impressed with the whole team throughout the entire process. There were so many thoughtful touches and interactions that happened throughout the planning and on the day itself. If you're considering a restaurant wedding, you won’t regret choosing Pagu!”

“We loved having our wedding at Alden & Harlow! Our guests are still raving about it and we're still not over how perfect it was. The food is impeccable. Despite serving a huge crowd, the food was as delicious (if not even better?!) as it always is. People are still texting us to tell us they're thinking about our wedding food, which is rare! Just be prepared - if you're doing family style, the pacing is a bit slow. We had 6 family style plates and they came out two at a time over the course of an hour. We had no complaints, just something to consider for your timeline! The staff was super accommodating, friendly, and helpful on the day of our wedding. They set up all of our decor/signage in record time and pulled the space together beautifully. We could tell they were so excited to be hosting a wedding, and they made us feel so special! The bartenders were a hit and the servers were a blast. Despite having a slightly odd shape (the seating in the greenhouse space is separated from the dining room by the long bar), the space is perfect for a wedding. We sat 122 guests comfortably, and still had the entire dance floor space free all night. The dining room is big enough to fit a full dance floor, but small enough that everyone is dancing close together, which was exactly what we wanted! Also worth noting we did our first look upstairs at Longfellow bar before they opened and the space and team was wonderful there, too. The photos turned out amazing. My only word of caution is to keep in mind that this is not a traditional wedding venue. Since they don't do a ton of weddings here, it's not as simple of a process as it might be at other venues. We had to do some of the leg work to figure out the seating chart, the timeline, and the menus, and sometimes we'd go a few months without hearing back from the team there. This was all totally fine for us, but it might not be everyones cup of tea. Some of the more unique elements of the wedding actually turned out to be our favorites: we sat at the bar with a bunch of our friends for dinner, almost everyone had to stand for the ceremony, and the people seated in the greenhouse stood on the dance floor for speeches/first dances since they wouldn't be able to see/hear from their seats. These all made the whole night feel so casual and fun and intimate, which was exactly what we wanted. Overall, we absolutely ADORED the team at Alden and genuinely couldn't be more grateful to them for helping us throw the best party of our lives. I can't imagine getting married anywhere else!!! The food, drinks, atmosphere, and team are all 1000/10. If you're open to getting creative and putting in a little work to throw an iconic city wedding, then you should ABSOLUTELY get married here!!”

“My husband and I always wanted a Boston wedding, with all events able to happen at one location. When we found the second oldest ballroom in Boston and within budget we were floored! To top it off, the way allow access to the ballroom, cocktail hour and ceremony rooms starting at 7am, which was amazing for all our vendors who were able to drop off all items. The hotel staff assisted with moving decor, setting up favors, and security made sure everyone had elevator access to the different spaces. The day went so smoothly. We’ll planning we communicated with the hotel planner who assisted with table setup, bar placement etc. just a quick walk to the public gardens we did our first look, had amazing ballroom photos, it was just a stunning day and they had everything we needed!”

Hyatt Place Boston / Seaport District

“We visited the Hyatt Place Boston / Seaport District 12th floor space with nearly 360 views of the seaport/waterfront and immediately knew we wanted not only our room block but ceremony here. From the moment we booked our ceremony, Julie and her team were thoughtful, accommodating, and genuinely excited to host our special day. The waterfront venue was bright and offered a seamless indoor-outdoor flow, which was perfect for our 140 guests. As one of the first large ceremonies at this new location, our vision was carried out exactly and it exceeded all of our expectations. Julie offered such great ideas to transform the space into the wedding we wanted. We were able to comfortably fit 100 chairs in the ceremony space, with a few guests standing, and the large outdoor patio was the perfect spot for our cocktail hour featuring passed drinks and light food. There was storage space for our decor throughout the weekend and Julie always had a solution to any logistical questions. Despite it being a busy concert Saturday at the pavilion across the street, we were able to easily get our guests onto a large shuttle to travel to and from the reception space in South Boston. We were able to do our first look in the outside space attached to the Hyatt as well as our Formal photos. In terms of accommodations, the rate was incredibly reasonable for an August wedding weekend directly on the Seaport waterfront. The space is incredibly clean and updated, and our guests loved all of the outside space and beautiful continental breakfast. The Hyatt Place team went above and beyond to make our wedding day truly unforgettable.”

“My husband and I wanted a smaller wedding, as an avid guest at Woodshill it was my first choice as our reception location. If you have ever been for dinner you know how amazing the food is, but if you have not take my word that the food is unmatched in its presentation, quality, and taste. The food is farm to table from their personal farm or locally sourced. Every person at my wedding raved about the food, I kept hearing “this is the best food I have ever had at a wedding”. This of course was no surprised to me but I was so happy to share the food experience with my guest. The food is served family style but don’t be fooled by the term as the presentation was so pretty it was far from just a plate of food. There was plenty of food to go around from the passed apps to the three courses we chose. My table was not even able to finish what was served! The venue itself is gorgeous. The views of the ocean is breathtaking both during the day and at night. The aesthetic inside is so beautiful all I added was some centerpieces on each table. A little goes a long way here! It also makes it so much less stressful when all you have to add is a few flowers, the restaurants beauty does the rest! I worked with Emily to curate a menu of food and drinks as well as plan out all the details of the night. She was so thoughtful and kind and had great communication skills. She was quick to respond via email or phone and is super knowledgeable. She had great recommendations and was easily able to guide me to making the perfect night! The staff was super attentive and professional all night making the most delicious cocktails, serving, resetting and transitioning from each course seamlessly. I can’t recommend Woodshill enough, it made the perfect place to gather our family and celebrate our wedding.”

“Katleen was incredibly helpful, available, responsive, professional and accommodating. The Endicott Estate is elegant, versatile, spacious, inviting and picturesque. The Endicott Estate is truly a magical venue. As a wedding photographer, I appreciated the variety of rooms, each offering unique lighting and creative possibilities. The estate is simply stunning and exudes a charming European vibe that elevated the beauty of the photos. I highly recommend this venue! The wedding took place in winter, and the estate felt especially enchanting during the holiday season.”

Neroli Ristorante

“We used the private dining space in the back for our rehearsal dinner and welcome party the night before our wedding! Neroli was really great when it came to creating a menu, being really communicative, setting up our space, and being very accommodating to our guests. We had a rehearsal dinner for 40 followed by our welcome party for 100 guests. The room was the perfect size and ambiance for the events and the bar being in the room was so easy for all the guests to enjoy themselves. I still keep getting compliments on the food and location. 10/10 recommend Neroli for any upcoming event!”
