In 2016, I started looking for creative alternatives to fresh flowers. I saw an advertisement for WOOD flower arrangements and was intrigued. I quickly ordered a centerpiece and when it arrived, I was so amazed by the product that I took the flowers apart to see how they were made. Fast forward a couple months and I started ordering raw undyed flowers, dove in headfirst, and fell in love! When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

A Virginia native, I’ve been surrounded by nature my entire life, but never more so than when I spent summers on my Grandmother’s 300-acre farm in West Virginia. My Grandmother was a powerful woman, raising two babies after having been recently widowed, while also pioneering the farm and putting herself through law school.
