In 1902, Elmer Thomas and his wife purchased the plot of land right off Peach Glen Road in Gardners, Pennsylvania. Here they settled and built their family home, while farming and harvesting the surrounding land. The Thomas family has continuously worked to restore and bring the property back to life. The Hauser Hill Event Center sits on 172 spacious acres atop a scenic ridge in the heart of apple country. Enjoy breathtaking views overlooking 40 miles of orchards, forests and farmland. This is the land over which the Confederate Army moved toward Gettysburg in 1863 during the Civil War. The facility includes 10 acres of carefully maintained vineyards and there are plenty of photo opportunities for your wedding, private or corporate event.

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

We are the ideal venue for weddings, rehearsal dinners, reunions, and other events. The barn is a significant architectural and historic site. One of the largest Confederate field hospitals after the battle of Gettysburg with an on-site restaurant, brewery, and distillery. We close to the public on days when we host events.
