I've been filming weddings for over 5 years now and to this day I love being behind the lens and getting creative with each unique wedding. Capturing lifelong memories, that you'd be able to playback with your family and friends for many more years to come!

We specialize in documentary wedding films, inspired by classic home-movies. We use handheld camcorders and vintage cameras to capture your day as it happened and craft a documentary that tells your story in full, from start to finish. Our films range from 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending on your day and your package.

Yugen Productions was founded as a creative company to take our business savvy background and our lust for creative arts to form a service based business. This idea became a reality on a 6000 mile round trip from Tennessee to California. It was on that trip I decided to launch Yugen Productions and begin chasing not only my vision, but fulfilling other peoples vision. To live during a time in human history where we have the resources to take peoples imaginations, create a moving image representative of that, and combine music, visual art, emotions, and a story is simply magical. We never lose sight of how amazing that concept truly is.

Jordan Shankman is an Atlanta-based photographer, cinematographer and independent filmmaker with technical expertise for multi-media design and a passion for storytelling. He was born in Atlanta, Ga and graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2012 with a B.F.A in Film and Television and a Minor in Cinema Studies. His work has garnered recognition from The Telluride Film Festival, The Nottingham International Film Festival, Kodak, Hasselblad and Ilford Photo. His knowledge and dedication, methodical execution and loyalty to his collaborators is the foundation and driving force behind his work.
