He has been shooting weddings, portraits, and brand work for over 6 years. Gabrielle’s background lies in visual arts and theatre, and comes well into play during creative decision making. Fun fact, we’re actually highschool sweethearts and have been together for 10+ years. We are currently based in NC and are transitioning to WA in 2022. We love to travel and are down to adventure throughout the US & Beyond. We both have a heart for exploration and love working with couples who share this adventurous spirit. Wilder Weddings Collective is a dedicated team of elopement and wedding photographers passionate about capturing wild love and real emotion. Based in Western North Carolina, but willing to travel anywhere, we’re leading a revolution in wedding photography, bringing the focus back on couples, their commitment, and the whole experience of the day.

I've been an artist for as long as I can remember. My mom gave me an old film camera sometime around 5th grade thinking offhand that I might be interested in yet another art form and boy was she ever right. From then on, I've always had a camera in my hand, documenting anything and everything. Photography has been not only my chosen form of expression for over half my lifetime, but my way of learning about the world, of getting to know people, and even of getting to know myself.

We are a husband and wife team serving the entire US but we are based out of Asheville, NC and Jackson Hole, WY! We believe in enjoying the experience of your wedding day as much as enjoying your images afterwards so we're big about making sure our couples have fun!

Soon after Juan and Emily got married in 2018 Juan began his photography career as a light technician in LA. Juan studied journalism for his undergrad, and this is when he was gifted his first camera and his interest in photography was sparked. Emily's childhood dream was to be a photographer, and after working for years as an ICU nurse she is able to do just that alongside Juan. We are energized by the creativity that photography brings, and the light and joy we experience from meeting couples.

I love being a wedding photographer in Asheville. Spending time with couples one on one to develop a personal connection and make them feel comfortable is what I love! I want everyone to feel like they are in their comfortable and natural environment when they are with me. Capturing people’s natural emotions and connections with those they love is why we take photographs, right? So let’s get comfortable and make the process stress free! When you hire me you get me.
