John and I fell in love with Athens while attending UGA, and eventually put down roots of our own, purchasing 24 acres in the heart of Bulldog Nation in 2016. We planted 2,600 blueberry bushes and named it Damn Good Dawg Farms. Combining my background in design and the wedding industry with John's building knowledge, that farm became Hadden Estate. Today, we offer a working blueberry farm wedding experience like no other in the region. Say something blue among our blueberry rows, celebrate under chandeliers in the Estate Room, and keep the party going all weekend with The Lodge, our onsite accommodations for up to 22 guests. From quiet mornings to late nights with your closest people, a full wedding weekend at Hadden Estate feels like a true destination, just 15 minutes from Athens.

Cottage 84 is our vintage inspired cottage style venue and estate that was built in 1925. The venue is still structured with the original pine walls and flooring and is filled with eclectic and gold, ornate vintage decor and furniture. The indoor dining and the reception area contains floor to ceiling stone fireplaces and our outdoor, covered reception space is equipped with a firestove and heater for those colder nights. The venue is on 1.5 acres of lighted ladscape including our boardwalk and 100 year old lighted pecan tree on our private back lawn area. Built from the granite of Stone Mountain, 550 Trackside was established as a Cotton Warehouse in 1904. Over the years, it has been known as The Langley General Store, The Mercantile Exchange, A Feed and Seed Co., the Grinder and the Goldkist Building.
