About this venue
John and I fell in love with Athens while attending UGA, and eventually put down roots of our own, purchasing 24 acres in the heart of Bulldog Nation in 2016. We planted 2,600 blueberry bushes and named it Damn Good Dawg Farms. Combining my background in design and the wedding industry with John's building knowledge, that farm became Hadden Estate. Today, we offer a working blueberry farm wedding experience like no other in the region. Say something blue among our blueberry rows, celebrate under chandeliers in the Estate Room, and keep the party going all weekend with The Lodge, our onsite accommodations for up to 22 guests. From quiet mornings to late nights with your closest people, a full wedding weekend at Hadden Estate feels like a true destination, just 15 minutes from Athens.

The Pavilion is a versatile, open-air space made for cocktail hour, rehearsal dinners, and relaxed gathering. It offers shade and comfort through Georgia summers, with sweeping views of the blueberry fields beyond. The Pavilion also serves as a beautiful rain plan for ceremonies, so celebrations continue without sacrificing the scenery, day or night of your full wedding weekend.

Just outside the Estate Room, the Courtyard is a favorite for cocktail hour and rehearsal dinners, and offers guests a quiet retreat from the dance floor without leaving the party behind. Loved for its classic Italian feel, romantic, timeless, and unforgettable, it's one more space that makes a full wedding weekend at Hadden Estate feel like a true destination experience.

Hadden Estate is such a gem to have in the Athens area. As a local photographer, it's always wonderful when you get to work with incredible people and the people at Hadden are top notch! I did a couples session there in the fall and it was gorgeous! If you are planning a wedding in the area, this venue must be on your list to tour and consider. You won't be disappointed!

Hadden Estate was the dreamiest venue with everything we needed and more! From the outdoor ceremony space, the bridal cottage, the groomsmen area, the blueberry fields, and the beautiful indoor reception space- Hadden Estate has it all! It is the most beautiful area, but also, the owners and planners are such kind and caring individuals. We had the most amazing experience planning our wedding here. Our day was a dream come true!!
