Grand Hall

Sophisticated - Intimate - Contemporary

The generously sized M. Smith Griffith Grand Hall features maple paneling with modern touches of brushed steel, illuminated ilk glass, and gray terrazzo floors. Guests enjoy sweeping views of the museum's Jane and Harry Wilson Sculpture Garden through a wall of oversized windows. Combine the Grand Hall with the Sculpture Garden, Education Center, or Auditorium to enhance your event.

The Willson Sculpture Garden provides an outdoor space perfect for an intimate luncheon or elegant wedding ceremony and can accommodate a 30 x 50-foot tent. Changing sculpture exhibitions and modern touches of cement tiles lines with green grass, bamboo, and a gentle waterfall fountain help make your event unforgettable. The sculpture garden can host your event on its own or together with the Grand Hall for your reception or ceremony.

Yes, it must be served by a licensed bartender. We cannot have red wine on the premises, though blush or rose wines are acceptable, as are all beer and liquors.
Yes, we have a small parking deck that we use for family, getaway car, and handicap parking. Additional guests are directed to the surface lots behind the performing arts center and school of music
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.

Your reservation includes 8 hours from start to finish, including the time it takes our staff to set up and breakdown. Any additional time will be billed at an hourly rate.
If the reservation is canceled prior to thirty (30) days from the scheduled event, the Permit Holder forfeits the Deposit. If the reservation is canceled thirty (30) days or less from the scheduled event, the Permit Holder forfeits one hundred percent (100%) of the total estimated charges.
Insurance is highly recommended. Our facility is insured but you, as the client, are not covered under our insurance.
I-85 North to GA-316 E. Then, US-29 N/US-78 E to College Station Road (Exit 7). Turn left onto College Station, Right on East Campus Road. Right onto Carlton Street, left into the Georgia Museum of Art driveway. Immediate right in our guest parking deck.
