Live Wire Athens is an event venue nestled in the northwest corner of downtown Athens, Georgia. The character-filled facility uniquely includes three versatile spaces, indoors and out, plus multiple concert stages. Locally owned and operated by the Robertson Family, this former warehouse has been transformed into a multifaceted locale, perfect for any event that ranges in 20-500 attendees. The storied venue is commonly booked year-round for Weddings, Private Parties, Silent Parties, and Concerts. Combining a rich history in the Athens music scene, superordinate event expertise, and state-of-the-art presentation, Live Wire guarantees to leave a lasting impression on you and your guests.

In Retrospect, Wouldn't Have Chosen Anywhere Else
Erika and the entire LiveWire staff were incredibly easy to work with, detail oriented, and most importantly they put together a beautiful set up for our wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and staff to host our big day!
Great venue for a party
We had a party vibe in mind for our wedding, and Live Wire went over and above to ensure our night was amazing. This is a family-owned concert venue, and we always felt like we were their only customer. The outdoor space is beautiful for the ceremony, and there’s enough natural beauty for you to not have to worry about too many decorations. The indoor space is great for a DJ or live band and the bar is a wonderful addition. The supplied the bartenders and all of the alcohol, which was one less thing for us to worry about. Live Wire also has local vendors that they prefer to work with, so if you book services with those vendors you get a discount. Our day was amazing, everything went great, and the team at Live Wire was amazing!! I highly recommend for any couple who is looking for a fun vibe for their wedding.
Great experience with Live Wire!
My husband & I had our wedding reception at Live Wire and it was the perfect party! Owner Erin was responsive & great to work with in the months leading up to the event, and then day-of, the manager Algy was wonderful at anticipating our needs and making sure the night moved along seamlessly. I felt very taken care of and everyone had an absolute blast. The venue space is beautiful too! I absolutely recommend.
Incredible Space
Having wedding and reception all in one space was great and recent renovations made it even better. We took the package with the bar credit and was definitely the way to go. Staff was great to work with in planning and on the day of and received good communication from the owners as well. It was perfect for us with lots of out of town guests and lots of convenient lodging nearby. Go ahead and book it! You won’t regret it!
