Knotting Hill Place

Little Elm, TX
  • Up to 300 guests

Knotting Hill Place has the perfect indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces. So many couples love the idea of a beautiful outdoor wedding but what happens if the Texas weather does not cooperate? At KHP we have a 10000 sq. ft. synthetic grass event lawn for the outdoor events and a 300 person dome ceiling cathedral if you would like to move indoors to say I do. Our venue was perfectly designed for weddings. It is all about flow and the guest being able to move from space to space easily and be served quickly so that they all may enjoy their special night. Our bride and grooms suites are the best in Texas. They are large and designed with bridal parties in mind. Complete with a TV screen that can watch the cameras of the rest of the venue, private lockers for the bridesmaids personal items, great lighting and salon style chairs and so on. Let's not forget both bridal and grooms suite have built in blue tooth!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Raw space for complete customization
  • Dressing room available
  • Provides a dedicated team on-site

Venue considerations

  • Requires outside catering services
  • Does not allow pets
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
“Knotting Hill Place was truly our dream wedding venue. Timeless, elegant, and absolutely magical, it exceeded our expectations in every way and provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. For years before getting engaged, I had driven past Knotting Hill Place and wondered if it was as grand and stunning on the inside as it appeared from the outside. The moment we stepped inside for our tour, all doubts disappeared. Every corner of the venue is intentionally and thoughtfully designed, making it breathtaking both in person and in photos. It is stunning yet warm and inviting, with a timeless elegance that feels like a French château fit for a princess. Even our very first tour, which took place in pouring rain, felt incredibly magical. One of the things we loved most is how much the venue includes and how beautiful it is on its own. While there are wonderful additional rental options, the space truly doesn’t need much to feel complete. Having a stunning indoor setting was especially important to my husband and me, as we wanted both our ceremony and reception indoors due to unpredictable Texas weather. Every time we returned to the venue, it felt just as special and awe-inspiring as the first visit. The bridal suites are incredible. They are spacious, luxurious, and comfortable, making them the perfect place to spend the day getting ready with my bridesmaids while feeling relaxed and pampered. Knotting Hill Place also hosts seasonal vendor events for couples, which we attended multiple times before our wedding. These events were such a gift during the planning process, allowing us to see the space styled in different ways, explore vendor options, and watch our vision slowly come to life. The entire Knotting Hill Place team was warm, welcoming, and supportive throughout the planning process. They were always responsive, helpful, and available to offer guidance. We also chose to work with the venue’s month-of coordinator, which was one of the best decisions we made. Our coordinator, Megan, was absolutely amazing. She took so much stress off our shoulders in the final month and ensured everything ran smoothly on the wedding day. Thanks to her, we were able to truly relax and enjoy every moment. We also highly recommend some of the venue’s add-ons, especially the custom dance floor, which tied our reception space together and made it feel so personal. The bubble machine was another standout. It added a fun, unique, and magical touch to our first dance and kept the dance floor lively throughout the night. Our guests absolutely loved it. Knotting Hill Place gave us the wedding day of our dreams, and we are so grateful for the memories we made there. We couldn’t recommend this venue more highly.”

About wedding venues in Argyle, TX

Why Is Texas an Exceptional Wedding Destination?

Texas offers an incredible variety of wedding settings across its diverse landscapes. You'll find everything from romantic Hill Country vineyards to stunning Gulf Coast waterfronts that provide perfect backdrops for your special day. The state is home to countless venues that showcase authentic Texas character while still matching your personal style. Think rustic barns where longhorn cattle graze nearby or sophisticated urban venues with dramatic city skyline views that'll impress your guests. Many Texas venues incorporate unique regional touches you won't find elsewhere; live country music that gets everyone dancing, mouthwatering BBQ stations and custom boot favors that celebrate local heritage. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, you'll find Texas venues ready to accommodate your vision.

What's the Average Cost of Wedding Venues in Texas?

Wedding venues in Texas typically cost between $3,000 and $30,000+ depending on what you're looking for. The national average runs about $6,500-$12,000 which represents roughly 25% of your total wedding budget. Your overall wedding costs will depend largely on how many people you're inviting to share your special day:

Guest CountAverage Total Wedding Budget
50 guests$19,410
100 guests$32,365
150 guests$44,545
200 guests$55,433
250 guests$66,322
300 guests$77,211
In Texas specifically, venues typically account for about 16% of your total wedding budget with couples spending an average of $6,932. This gives you plenty of room in your budget to customize other elements of your celebration that matter most to you and your partner.

Which Wedding Venue Types Are Most Popular in Texas?

Texas venues offer distinctly regional experiences that capture the state's diverse character. Hill Country locations around Fredericksburg give you gorgeous vineyard settings with beautiful limestone architecture and sunset views that will take your breath away. If you're considering Houston, you'll find venues that thoughtfully incorporate bayou landscapes alongside sophisticated cosmopolitan amenities. Dallas spaces tend to showcase luxury urban environments with elegant design elements that create a refined atmosphere. Fort Worth venues perfectly blend Western heritage with modern conveniences for a uniquely Texan experience. November emerges as the most popular month for venue inquiries across the state, so you might want to plan accordingly if you're interested in this popular time frame.

How Far in Advance Should You Book Your Texas Venue?

Texas couples typically book their wedding venues about 16 months (or 457 days) before their wedding date. November stands out as the most popular month for venue inquiries so planning early is essential if you're considering this timeframe. This advanced booking timeline helps you secure your preferred date since popular venues often fill their calendars far in advance especially for prime weekend dates. Booking early also allows you to lock in current pricing before annual increases that many venues implement. Plus you'll have more time to work with venue coordinators to customize floor plans and discuss details that will make your celebration uniquely yours.

Where Can You Find Accessible Wedding Venues in Texas?

Madera Estates in Conroe stands out for its commitment to accessibility with fully paved event spaces that accommodate wheelchair navigation throughout the property. You can host up to 330 guests here and the venue is frequently praised for physically walking through accessibility needs during the planning process. You'll also find excellent accessible options at Jennings Trace near Houston which offers single-level celebration spaces. Hummingbird Hill Weddings in Chappell Hill prioritizes inclusive design throughout their venue and The Preserve at Canyon Lake features wheelchair-friendly pathways connecting all major celebration areas. These venues ensure all your guests can fully participate in your special day regardless of mobility considerations.

Which Texas Wedding Venues Offer Outstanding Culinary Experiences?

The Bell Tower on 34th in Houston delivers exceptional dining experiences under Executive Chef Sergio Arellano. His international culinary team creates gourmet meals on-site that will impress even your most food-savvy guests. Food-focused couples should also consider Steiner Ranch Steakhouse in Austin where you'll enjoy spectacular views alongside premium cuts of Texas beef. Cisco's Salsa Company near Tomball has built a reputation for their award-winning Mexican cuisine that adds authentic flavors to your celebration. Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse in the Houston area offers a unique Brazilian steakhouse experience with tableside carving and a festival atmosphere your guests will remember long after the wedding day.

How Can Texas Venues Support Remote Wedding Participation?

For couples wanting to include loved ones who can't attend in person, several Texas venues now offer more than just basic streaming services. Venues like Agave Estates Mara Villa and The Middleton Venue in Katy specialize in creating interactive remote experiences that make distant guests feel truly present. You can work with these venues to design custom interactive elements that go beyond passive viewing. Think virtual guest books where remote attendees can leave video messages remote toasts synchronized with in-person celebrations and even coordinated dance moments. These thoughtful touches ensure everyone feels included in your celebration regardless of where they're located.
