BridleWood is a New Venue, set in the midst of a working horse farm, in the beautiful rolling hills of Columbia County! Our newly renovated event barn, lit by wrought iron chandeliers and candle sconces, surrounded by horses in green pastures, creates a rustic-elegant oasis for a truly memorable occasion. Three large carriage doors allow for a covered yet sunlit space, where guests may mingle for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, or accommodate a formal sit down meal for up to 60. The polished floors double as a dance floor inviting guests to dance the night away beneath the warm glow of the chandeliers! Just beyond the carriage doors, our flat grass arena provides unlimited space for a large sail-cloth tent, with ample room for a caterer’s tent along side. Electrical hookups are provided for food service, sound, and additional lighting as needed. The restored dairy barn built in 1828 on a 100 acre, family ran, historic venue with modern-day amenities is nestled in the Hudson Valley, NY. It can host up to 150 guests comfortably inside the barn, with additional space on the deck for cocktail hour and an adjacent lawn area for your ceremony. There is also an additional lounge seating area if some of your guests would like to relax with a bit of quiet time. Antique chandeliers accent the hardwood floors, walls and beams providing the rustic character that compliments the temperature controlled AC and heat to enable us to provide year-round events. In addition to the barn, deck, and ceremony space, the onsite 4 bedroom (7 queen beds) restored farmhouse is included in the venue for the weekend. A Friday check in enables you to prepare yourself for the big day and set up the space in the barn with any decor. The house is yours for the entire weekend for up to 8 guests. It works perfectly as a bridal suite for everyone to get ready.
