Went to a wedding here and it was absolutely gorgeous. The food was fantastic and the camp itself was so beautiful, ranging from the green fields to the incredible waterfront. The hosts set up a large tent and dance floor on the soccer field protecting us from the intermittent showers that day. The tent was lined with string lights and looked almost magical when the sun began to set. On Sunday morning we walked down to see the lake surrounded by mountains of trees. Loved this place!

They introduced us to the entire team that would be working on our special day, and were incredibly flexible in meeting our requests, like adding gender neutral bathroom signs to make our LGBTQ guests feel welcome. The quality of their work is simply gorgeous - the elevated rustic, charming aesthetic of the venue fit our style perfectly. When we first toured the Carriage House as a potential venue, it was a snowy January day (the opposite of the June wedding day we were touring for) but we could see the vision of space and fell in love with it. Keilana and Dawn were so easy to work with from the initial tour all the way through to picking up our stuff the day after the wedding. They were always available to answer any of our questions, no matter how small. They broke down the planning into parts, so it never felt overwhelming and they were always very clear about what information they needed and when. From the tasting day where we got to imagine how the space would be set up for our wedding, to the final walk through where we went through every detail of the wedding day, Keilana and Dawn were professional and enthusiastic, and we knew that our wedding was in good hands. Having the reception at the Carriage House meant many of our out of state guests were staying at the hotel which made the weekend even more fun, continuously running into people we knew throughout the weekend! Our guests raved about the beautiful cocktail hour outside, the lake views from the reception space, the delicious food, and that even with 200 people there was never a line at the bar when guests went to get a drink! The entire reception ran so smoothly, and we had an amazing time. We could not have picked a better location for our wedding reception, and we would highly recommend the Carriage House at Fort William Henry to other couples!! Thank you, Keilana and Dawn! Our whole family had a phenomenal experience at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, VT, all as part of our daughter’s wedding in early October 2024. From the day we first toured Riverside Farm in November of 2022, the gorgeous setting and friendly, deeply experienced team gave us a great feeling about RF that continued through to the wedding and to this day. From late 2022 onward, RF gave us excellent advice and support on every aspect of planning the wedding – the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, all of the wedding day festivities, the afterparty and the Sunday departure brunch. We did not have – and did not need – a separate wedding planner. Our RF coordinator, Kaycee Bushee, was a terrific resource throughout. First, she greeted every question or concern with the same calm, pleasant, and constructive approach – never “too busy” to listen carefully and help. Second, when the wedding arrived, Kaycee oversaw everything with a clear idea of what needed to happen and when, plus a gentle hand to move things along invisibly. Her very capable team members were all well-trained and on the same page. RF requires the use of a small group of core vendors, a practice we came to value immensely. RF works exclusively with Vermont Farms Catering, plus one transportation provider and another company that sets up each event. Far from limiting, we found it a great way to create alignment with these critical groups. They went above and beyond to make sure that RF’s clients (and RF itself) were thrilled. A special note on Vermont Farms Catering, owned/operated by Katie Stiles (our primary contact) and Chef Kevin Lasko (Katie’s husband). They are remarkable, having transitioned to Vermont from the intensive Manhattan restaurant scene. Over the years, VFC has established close relationships with all of the best farmers, ranchers and producers within a broad radius. We knew instantly – when we had a “test” tasting in early 2024 – that our guests would be extremely well-served. For help finding other vendors, Kaycee was always there with a range of recommendations and “color” on photographers, florists, linen providers, etc. She knows of, has color on, or has worked directly with most wedding-related vendors throughout Vermont and New England – many of whom have handled events at RF. Beyond these outstanding individuals at RF, Riverside Farm itself is extraordinary. Whether in full sun or any other conditions, Riverside Farm itself truly shines. It is a spectacular physical place – vast and yet intimate at the same time due to the open sightlines. It offers multiple separate venues that together could comfortably host a great wedding in any weather conditions. Plus, RF provides accommodations for the wedding party at RF, and for family/close friends at a lovely 15-room inn, Amee Farm Lodge, just a mile away and under common ownership with RF. As to issues or negatives, we truly didn’t have any. Nothing occurred that caused any level of frustration or concern. It was amazingly smooth given the number of guests (170) and the numerous events from mid-Friday through the departure brunch on Sunday. As noted, this was not by accident or just good luck. Kaycee and the RF team are outstanding both as to assisting in the planning and in the detailed, smooth and crisp execution of the final plan. As is clear from the above, our entire family wholeheartedly and without reservation recommends Riverside Farm for your family’s wedding.

The wedding coordinators were the absolute best to work with! They were so professional and quick to respond with emails. We were very happy to have them the day of the wedding as they made everything run so smoothly! During cocktail hour Julie helped set up a small private table with appetizers for just the two of us. It was so nice to spend a few minutes as a newly married couple before making our entrance to the reception. The food was amazing, and both the ceremony and reception spaces were decorated better than I could’ve imagined. The cake was done by Debbie Coye and part of our package - not only was it gorgeous but it was also delicious! The staff were all professional and made sure we had everything that we needed. We are so glad we had our wedding at the Holiday Inn, it was truly the best day of our lives!

About wedding venues in Adirondack, NY

## Why Are the Adirondacks Perfect for Your Wedding Day?

The Adirondack region delivers breathtaking mountain vistas, pristine lakes and rustic charm that create magical wedding backdrops all year long. You'll find yourself surrounded by natural beauty that combines seamlessly with historic venues, giving you options from lakeside ceremonies to cozy mountain lodge receptions. September tops the list for wedding inquiries and it's no surprise why; the spectacular fall foliage transforms these mountains into a stunning canvas of vibrant colors that your guests will remember forever.

## What's the Average Cost of Wedding Venues in the Adirondacks?

Adirondack wedding venues typically run between $15,210 and $18,590, quite a bit higher than the national range of $6,500-$12,000. Your venue will represent about 22% of your total wedding costs in this region. Looking at the bigger picture, your total budget will scale with your guest count. For 50 guests you're looking at around $32,636 while a celebration with 100 guests jumps to about $55,386. Larger gatherings of 150 guests average $76,762 and 200-guest weddings typically reach $95,848. For truly grand celebrations, 250 guests averages $114,933 and 300 guests runs about $134,018.

## How Far in Advance Should You Book an Adirondack Wedding Venue?

Most couples book their Adirondack venues about 10 months (318 days) before their wedding date. You'll want to plan even further ahead for peak season dates, especially during those gorgeous fall months when booking 12-14 months in advance becomes necessary. Venues with water views get snatched up quickest. Those unique features that make the Adirondacks special also make certain venues book up faster than others, so don't wait if you've found a place that speaks to you.

## Which Adirondack Venues Offer Accessible Wedding Experiences?

Several stunning venues prioritize accessibility while maintaining all that natural Adirondack charm you're looking for. Hiland Park Country Club in Queensbury can host up to 300 guests with fully accessible amenities throughout their property. The Inn At Erlowest sits right on Lake George and offers historic charm alongside thoughtful accessibility features you and your guests will appreciate. Silver Bay YMCA gives you multiple venue options across their expansive 700-acre property with accessibility options they can customize to your needs. Always reach out directly to venues about your specific accessibility requirements; they're typically happy to accommodate.

## Can Adirondack Venues Accommodate Remote Wedding Participation?

While basic streaming is common everywhere now, venues like The Lodge at Schroon Lake (which hosts between 201-250 guests) and Brant Lake Camp (perfect for gatherings over 300) offer particularly picturesque settings that translate beautifully for virtual guests. Garnet Hill Lodge surrounds you with stunning mountain and lake views that will impress even remote viewers. For smaller gatherings, Great Camp Sagamore offers intimate settings for up to 60 guests in a historic location your virtual attendees will enjoy exploring. When investigating remote participation options, ask venues about their Wi-Fi reliability and whether they've hosted hybrid events before.

## Which Adirondack Venues Are Known for Outstanding Cuisine?

The Sagamore on Lake George delivers upscale dining experiences alongside lakeside ceremonies and a permanent tented reception area you'll love. You'll find Whiteface Club in Lake Placid offering waterside ceremony spaces paired with exceptional culinary options that highlight local flavors. The Promise Gardens in Thurman combines beautiful garden settings and charming rustic barns with dining experiences they'll customize entirely to your taste. The Lodge at Schroon Lake gives you versatile indoor and outdoor spaces where they can tailor menu options to create exactly the dining experience you've been dreaming about for your special day.
