“Historic Jasmine Wedding & Event Venue was the perfect choice for our wedding day! The venue itself was incredible, with lots of space for our wedding party to get ready and stay, and beautiful outdoor and indoor spaces for the ceremony and reception. Ashton, the owner, was amazing to work with and always responded quickly to our questions. We were able to visit the venue several times before the big day, which really helped us plan the perfect setup. On the day of, the staff was very accommodating and there for whatever we needed, but also gave us the space to do what we wanted. The venue is truly beautiful, and the owners were amazing throughout the entire process. We could not have asked for a better wedding venue!”

Dougie worked behind the scenes like magic, efficiently setting up and tearing down with ease, and Wendy handled the bar flawlessly—even with our lively crowd. The property is beautiful, and having the wedding party stay on‑site the night before meant more than words can express. “We had our wedding there last month, a small one with 60 guests. Tiffanie was great coordinating everything, she is very knowledgeable and always made me feel like there was nothing to worry about and it wasn’t, everything went perfect, very smooth and she really took care of every detail without me or my family having to worry. The staff are great, friendly, professional and they always looked happy to take care of our guests. I also work in the hospitality industry, and I was impressed. The food was delicious, we opted for a plated dinner with 3 choices plus a vegan one for a couple of guests and every single one was great. Bartender was also on point and my guests were very happy about that. Now about the venue itself, it’s beautiful, we had the ceremony outside by the water and reception indoors at the ballroom, the bridal suit is great, it has a lot of space for everyone to get ready and access to everything we could possibly need. It is a busy place with a lot of members so there is a chance of other events to be happening at the same time but trust me when I say you won’t even notice, they do a great job with scheduling and keeping events separated.”

“As I write this review, I am reminded of all of the stressful thoughts a bride goes through as she plans her big day with the love of her life, and then I remember how great it was that I found the best location and person to work with to coordinate our big day! Ruthanne and her entire event staff at Kiln Creek Golf Club & Resort deserve all of the love and recognition for helping to orchestrate a seamless event from start to finish. I was unfamiliar with venues in this area, and my now husband and I searched from the Outer Banks to Newport News to find something that fit our vision and price point, and Kiln Creek did all of that. For both of us, it was important that the venue gave us that "This is it" feeling! All of the venues we looked at in Suffolk, Norfolk, and VA Beach were just missing something. Then Kiln Creek Golf Club & Resort popped up on my searches and I am sure glad it did! Ruthanne went out of her way to make sure all of my questions were answered and that she saw my vision properly for the big day. That is what was so amazing, that she puts every bride’s vision as a huge priority and she was there to make sure we set up times to meet to go over everything in fine detail. She even added extra special touches because she wanted to, and they were perfect. We stayed at the Lodge, ate at the Nest for dinner one evening prior to the event as well as breakfast the day after the wedding, and the rooms were spacious, beds comfortable and food was delicious! Shout out to Jordan, Christine, Crystal and all of the other amazing servers and staff on location! My husband and I had the most amazing day of our lives! All thanks to Ruthanne and her amazing team, from the chef, to the recommended vendors, who were equally awesome, for seeing my vision and making sure everything came together, perfectly!
