We sat down with creator Brigette Pheloung (AKA @acquired.style)—2026 Zola bride planning what’s soon-to-be TikTok's most talked about wedding. Brigette is teaming up with Zola for our new series "Pop the Questions" to talk about her planning process thus far and reveal a few hints about the big day. In this Q&A, Brigette reveals the first—and toughest—thing she planned, her non-negotiable bridal hairstyle, and secret weapon for deciding on plus-ones without the headache.

Did you secretly plan any parts of your wedding before the ring?

I wish I had planned things before I got engaged, but I didn't. And I wish I did!

What was the first thing that you planned?

Getting a venue. I'm so happy that that's what I started with, because it is tough out here to get a venue. Finding a Saturday in the summer—anywhere—is not easy.

What's a note you've taken from friends' weddings that you'll be implementing into your big day?

The flow of your wedding is so important. For your guests, for you, for everyone!

How would you describe your wedding vibe or aesthetic in three words?

Elegant, classic, and fun.

What was the first thing you knew had to be on your Zola registry?

I feel like my mom keeps telling me the importance of good china. I never would have thought to put that on my registry, but that feels like a special thing you collect over time and will always remember it as a wedding gift.

While trying on dresses, has anything surprised you from what you originally envisioned?

I think it surprised me how decisive I was. The second I put something on that I didn't like, I was like, "No, I don't even want to think about this for another second.” I thought I would just love everything!

Has the dress been secured?

Not yet. 😉

You're the queen of all things hair! What are you thinking for your hair on the big day?

My hair will definitely be down. You won't catch me dead in an updo.

What role will Danielle be playing at your wedding?

I mean, can you guys ask Danielle? She's not helped me with anything! She'll say that's because I haven't asked her to be my maid of honor yet. But just you wait, Danielle.

What's one tradition you're keeping and one you're tossing?

Keeping: My dad will definitely be walking me down the aisle. Tossing: No wedding party for me.

Hot seat: What's your criteria for giving someone a plus one?

If you are dating the plus one for six months and I've personally met them, then they can come.

Do you want to have a content plan for your wedding day or will you be opting for a more private event?

Yes, I will have a very well thought out content plan for the weekend of my wedding.

What's a secret you can share only with Zola about your 2026 wedding?

Let's just say… you can expect a few outfit changes.
