With a variety of stunning indoor and outdoor sites and dramatic reception venues along with full-service catering, your options are almost as endless as your imagination. Your destination wedding will be complete with the recently renovated Lodge at Wisp and an almost endless list of outdoor activities including two golf courses, three canopy tour zip lines, whitewater rafting, mountain coaster and more. Wedding Receptions
Our on-site professional wedding coordinator is ready to help you plan your special day so you can say ‘I Do’ sooner rather than later.
Your wedding reception is an exciting time to celebrate with your family and friends. We offer three distinctly different and wonderful locations for hosting your reception. Featuring soaring ceilings, gorgeous slope views, three story windows, an adjoining canopied deck and flexible room configurations. McHenry Lodge comfortably serves up to 450 guests for a seated reception or as few as 100 guests for an intimate memorable evening. Mountain Mist Tent - This private tent venue rises out of the Wisp valley like morning Mountain Mist and features a draped ceiling, elegant chandeliers, convertible walls, heating and air conditioning. Accommodating as many as 250 guests and as few as 150, Mountain Mist offers an outdoor wedding experience with the assurance of the indoors. Sundown Yurt Village - This unique setting at the base of the mountain offers space for smaller gatherings of under 60 guests. Each of the five yurts has its own personality and offers chandelier lighting, heating and air conditioning.

Wisp Resort is dedicated to helping you make the most of your special day by providing numerous and accommodating ceremony locations. The Mountaintop Ceremony Site features breath-taking views overlooking Wisp Resort & Deep Creek Lake! Make a unique entrance with the option to arrive via Chairlift. You'll be surrounded by mountain views and a man-made river at the White Water Pavilion. This open-air pavilion features dramatic pine beams with steel frame and is located on an island - what's more unique than that?!? Sundown Village is A beautiful location on the outskirts of the golf course and within walking distance of the Wisp Resort Hotel and McHenry Lodge. This picture-perfect site looks onto beautiful seasonal foliage and spectacular sunsets. The Slopeside Fireplace lets you begin your happily ever after aside from a picturesque mountain scene. The ideal location to capture the first moments as newlyweds.
