Bordered by our Vicia Kitchen Garden, our Covered Outdoor Patio is dining al fresco, with help from fans and heaters when the weather needs it.

Open to the outdoors (or closed when the weather gets cooler) the Covered Outdoor Patio is perfect for an intimate gathering. With our wood hearth on one end, cozy lighting, and wooden tables and chairs, our space is a beautiful backdrop to your big night. With evaporative coolers and fans for warmer weather, and portable heaters for cooler weather, this space can be booked 8-10 months out of the year.

Our full restaurant provides you with our iconic bar, our main dining room with full view of our kitchen, our covered outdoor patio, and our garden terrace. Have your ceremony & cocktails in the garden, followed by dinner in our dining rooms. Or have your seated dinner (will require both our indoor and outdoor dining room to seat more than 40) followed by drinks, dancing, coffee and desserts, a chef-staffed ice cream sundae bar, and more.

    Perfect Day, Zero Stress

    Vicia was the perfect choice for our wedding, and we felt like VIPs the entire evening. Liz and her team are organized, warm, and truly professional. They handled every detail so all we had to do on the day is relax and enjoy ourselves! The venue itself is beautiful, with both an indoor room and a gorgeous garden space to choose from, or both which is what I had. We loved the open bar with all the classic cocktails, plus they offered a custom cocktail option, and tailored mocktails so that every guest found something special and delicious. Having a dedicated server just for the wedding couple made us feel completely taken care of throughout the night. From the food to the wine to the people, everything was amazing, and we would 100% recommend Vicia to any couple planning their wedding!

Yes, we have metered street parking, and a gated lot directly across the street with ample parking. We provide vouchers for the gated lot, making it free for our guests.
You may bring in your own alcohol, however we charge a corkage fee of $35 per bottle for wine and $40 per bottle of liquor. We are happy to source preferred beverages for you; inquire for more information.
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and rear entrances, and flexible seating that allows for those with mobility concerns.
We are busiest and have the least availability in May and October, so get requests in early for those months! While we do not charge more during these months, we do blackout the week of Washington University's graduation from any private bookings.
We can offer lower pricing for small (up to 38 guests) parties in Jan, Feb, Jul, and Aug due to the weather affecting our available space.
Wedding related bookings are 5 hours for your event, with an hour allocated prior to your event for set up. Vendor set up, or same day item drop off can be arranged earlier in the day by request.
For groups up to 38, yes. For seated events of 39–72 guests, a full buyout of Vicia includes both our Main Dining Room and Covered Patio. Guests are seated across the two spaces, which are divided by a glass wall and remain visually connected throughout the event. The layout allows guests to flow easily between the two rooms, and larger groups can gather together in either space for portions of the celebration, including cocktails, toasts and speeches. We welcome virtual or in-person visits so you can see the space for yourself, and our Events Director can provide guidance on how your event would work in our space.
Our venue is available for events Tuesday through Saturday.
