Set between centuries-old live oak trees and the Ashley River waterfront, this private, gated venue offers a scenic, easygoing space with sweeping river and sunset views. Perfect for an intimate, luxurious occasion with 100 guests or fewer, The River House provides an exclusive and memorable Charleston experience. As part of the PPHG family, you benefit from in-house food and beverage service, a pastry chef, complimentary rehearsal, and an experienced event management team dedicated to making your day flawless.

An intimate, easygoing gem with sweeping river views.
• Reception Hall (Interior): The 1,137 square feet of casual waterfront space features an open floor plan with light-filled interiors. The main room showcases a chic black and white checkered tile floor, high ceilings, and is anchored by elegant chandeliers and sconces. Four sets of French doors open directly to the outdoors, bathing the room in natural light and providing a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. • Outdoor Ceremony & Grounds: The spacious waterfront grounds and manicured lawns offer a breathtaking setting for a ceremony, framed by magnificent live oak trees and marsh views leading to the Ashley River. The dock is accessible for photos or boat departures, making for unique memories. • Terrace & Courtyard: The interior flows onto a brick terrace and a private, gated courtyard for cocktail hours or open-air dining. There is also an Oyster Tabby Space ideal for a tented reception.
