Our daughter’s April 2026 wedding at the Hudson Manor was absolutely magical! The gorgeous venue and exceptional staff exceeded all of our expectations. The all-inclusive style of the venue provides for a more stress-free experience. Our families and friends are still raving about the food. Multiple guests have said that it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they have ever attended. During the entire planning process, Melissa was fantastic about giving helpful advice and suggestions. Her vendor list is second to none. With her expertise and guidance, we were able to assemble a fantastic team of vendors that worked tirelessly to make our special day perfect. We are eternally grateful to everyone at the Hudson Manor.

My husband and I got married at Hudson Manor this Saturday. Melissa did a wonderful job on keeping track of all the things I wanted (I am very type A and had a specific vision 😅). Melissa was always on top of making sure she had all the details right, very responsive, and flexible! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and so much space to get ready in. Food was great all the guests enjoyed the space/atmosphere. We highly recommend Hudson Manor! Thank you Melissa and team for the fantastic job♥️

From the first time we stepped foot onto this beautiful wedding venue, we knew this was the place for us! Melissa was very professional yet funny and very organized! I wanted an all inclusive venue and I’m so glad we booked it! The food was amazing and the venue was perfection! We became very good friends with Melissa throughout the months leading up to our wedding! We couldn’t be more happy with our special day and the friendship we found! Thanks again Melissa! Love you to the moon and back! Highly recommend!!!❤️❤️

Review of Hudson Manor Estates- A Nightmare Experience I can't express enough how deeply disappointed we were with our experience at Hudson Manor estate. If you're considering this place for your wedding, I strongly advise against it—especially with the owner, Melissa, at the helm. From the moment we arrived, Melissa was the epitome of control freak and rude. On what should have been one of the happiest days for the beautiful bride and groom, she turned the atmosphere into one of stress and discomfort. It was apparent that her priority was not the couple but her own overbearing need to micromanage every detail. On the day of the wedding, the drama began when Melissa rushed the bride and her party, scolding them just as they were trying to enjoy the cherished moments before the ceremony. When one of the bridesmaids attempted to stand up for the bride, Melissa snapped at her instead of ensuring a smooth experience for all. Her lack of communication was astonishing—she failed to inform us during the rehearsal that everyone would have to pack their belongings immediately after dressing. Instead, she chose to relay this on the wedding day, creating chaos and panic as everyone scrambled to move their things, including the bride's. The communication breakdown continued when Melissa was tasked with figuring out where the bustling of the bride's dress would take place. Instead of listening to the bridal party and coordinating effectively, she rushed them and disregarded their input, dismissing the mother of the groom and insisting that she knew best. It felt as though she had no respect for anyone's perspective, creating a disrespectful atmosphere. Adding insult to injury, she made wild accusations against the bridesmaids, suggesting they were stealing her items that were clearly meant for the bridal party. This was especially hurtful given that the bride is African-American and has different cultural needs—nothing was stolen, yet Melissa's hostility was palpable. She threw shoeboxes and personal items at the bridesmaids' feet, further exacerbating the tension. Her behavior escalated to the point of slamming a door in a bridesmaid’s face after a simple question, only to turn around and badmouth her to the groom. When he confronted her, she attempted to brush it off with laughter, demonstrating a shocking lack of professionalism. During the ceremony, Melissa allowed guests to come in at the worst possible moment—the bride’s “I Do”—which had been expressly requested not to happen. This was after she had thrown a temper tantrum for letting in one guest prior to the ceremony starting, proving her inconsistency and tantrum-prone behavior. Furthermore, Melissa took it upon herself to involve herself in all the special moments, even cutting the cake in a way that blocked guests from witnessing it. It was clear that the day was about her rather than the bride and groom. She misplaced the bride’s flowers and then had the audacity to try and blame the bridesmaids, adding another layer of unnecessary stress. In summary, Melissa’s conduct was not just unprofessional; it came off as culturally insensitive, and some of her behavior felt racially charged. She was unfriendly to the mother of the groom, and the overall experience left a sour taste in our mouths. I would rate this venue a zero if I could, but unfortunately, I must give it a one-star rating just to leave this review. Beware of this woman—she should not be part of anyone's special day.

This review is long overdue but better late than never! We were married on October 12th, 2024 and had a great experience with Melissa! We were married in a church off-site and hosted our reception at The Hudson Manor. We only had 6 months to plan our wedding but Melissa was very patient and accommodating throughout the entire process. I would strongly suggest that you utilize all of her vendor references. We were able to book our photographer and wedding cake maker through her and they were both fantastic. Melissa has many years experience and it was so helpful to us when we felt like we had no idea what we were doing. The best part about booking this venue is definitely the food- the guests loved the food and we still think about the food to this day. Much better than low-quality food you may get if you book at a hotel venue. We would 100% recommend The Hudson Manor if you are looking for a great venue.
