About this venue

The Hillcrest Estate is a historic mansion with incredibly unique style, located in the countryside between Rochester and Buffalo, New York. The estate boasts over a hundred acres of pristine land and quite a few famous visitors. Two main areas are available for your wedding party at The Hillcrest Estate. The ballroom, accented with vintage decor and two massive fireplaces, antique furniture, hardwood flooring, and chandeliers, can accommodate up to 125 guests. Then, looking outside, the veranda features a tiered terrace and reflecting pool along with impeccably maintained lawn space for your ceremony and reception. The outdoor space with a tent can host roughly 200 guests. Services Offered We offer endless services including: onsite manager throughout your entire wedding weekend, bridal suite access before the event, the carriage house and carriage house lounge for the bridal or grooms party to get ready, decor rentals, catering and bar service, onsite accommodations for up to 22.

    The Hillcrest is Incredible

    Our experience at Hillcrest Estate was exceptional from beginning to end. The property is absolutely beautiful, with thoughtful attention to every detail. Our daughter and son-in-law chose the woodland setting for the ceremony, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It created a peaceful, natural backdrop; many of our guests commented on it throughout the day. The bridal party and parents stayed in the mansion and guest house, and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. The rooms were elegant, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a refrigerator in every room and everything we needed to keep snacks and drinks on hand while getting ready. It truly felt like a luxurious home away from home. We hosted the rehearsal dinner and cocktail hour in the ballroom, and it was stunning. Every element of the space felt intentional and beautifully designed. It was the perfect setting for an intimate dinner while still providing plenty of room for guests to mingle comfortably. The food deserves special recognition. Both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception meals were outstanding. We've received countless compliments from our guests about how delicious the food was, as well as how generous the portions were. The reception was held under the outdoor tent, which created an elegant atmosphere while allowing everyone to enjoy the beauty of the property. One of the things our guests appreciated most was having the ceremony and reception in one location. The estate offers so many inviting places to gather, relax, and enjoy the natural surroundings, making the entire experience feel seamless and welcoming. The staff at Hillcrest Estate was truly exceptional. They were proactive, organized, responsive, kind, and professional throughout the planning process and on the wedding day itself. We had an uncertain weather forecast, and their communication and preparedness gave us complete confidence that every contingency had been considered. Thankfully, the weather cooperated, but it was reassuring to know we were in such capable hands. If you're looking for a venue that combines the beauty of nature with timeless elegance, exceptional service, and outstanding food, I cannot recommend Hillcrest Estate highly enough. It was the perfect place to celebrate our daughter's wedding, and we're so grateful for the unforgettable experience they created for us.

    The Best Wedding Venue!

    The Hillcrest Estate was the perfect venue for our wedding. Kate made everything extremely easy with the micro-wedding package and she was so helpful throughout our entire experience. We really loved being able to accommodate our closest family and friends for the weekend. We are still getting praise on how beautiful the venue is! I am so glad we listened to the local vendor recommendations, they were all amazing. Kate and her team did an excellent job and we cannot recommend them enough!

    Beautiful wedding

    The Hillcrest Estate was the perfect venue for our wedding day. From the start, the team was incredibly communicative and helpful in guiding us through the planning process. Kate, the owner and coordinator, worked with us every step of the way on the timeline, floor plan, and ensuring the day went smoothly. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a secluded and high-quality feel that made it the ideal setting for our special day. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our marriage, and we're so grateful to the Hillcrest Estate team for helping to make our wedding day truly unforgettable.
