Spur Of The Moment Ranch is a barn style wedding venue in Homestead, Florida, located right outside of Miami. Rustic fully air-conditioned barn, a large covered pole-barn for your reception, breath taking ceremony area, a 360 degree koi pond with cascading waterfalls, surrounded by luscious tropical landscape, this unique property sets the perfect tone for a Wedding Oasis. Best Decision Ever
If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. First things first, my husband and I have worked countless events/weddings as photographers & videographers, and I also spent a few years working exclusively in the wedding industry with connections nationwide. We’ve seen a lot of venues, a lot of staff, and a lot of wedding days. So when I say that Spur of the Moment Ranch is truly one of the best of the best, I mean it wholeheartedly. Many venues advertise themselves as “all-inclusive,” but very few actually deliver on that promise. Spur of the Moment Ranch is the closest I’ve ever seen to truly including so many of the things you will need and want for your wedding day, and they do it exceptionally well. The space itself is stunning, blending country charm with lush, tropical landscapes. But the most important highlight is the people. The staff here does not just say they are like family as a selling point, it is something you genuinely feel throughout the entire process and you get to become family too. We used Sally for photography, and she was everything we could have hoped for. She was calm, easygoing, personable, and incredibly talented. Her assistant Melissa was so kind, and together they worked seamlessly as a team. Our coordinators, Frida and Jess, were outstanding on the wedding day. Everything flowed so smoothly, and we were able to be fully present without worrying about a thing. DJ Eddy was phenomenal and truly went above and beyond. He almost acted as an additional coordinator, constantly checking in on us and making sure everyone was having an amazing time. You can tell he genuinely loves his job and cares for the couples. We also went with their in-house catering. Chef Ida is incredibly talented. She offers a wide range of cuisines and was so accommodating with preferences, allergies, and sensitivities. For our cake, we used their recommended baker, Maria, and it was delicious. There were so many flavor options to choose from, both classic and unique, and people still talk about the cake. The bartenders, valet team, and venue attendants were all fantastic and played a huge role in making everything run seamlessly. One of the most special parts of our experience was how much Spur helped us with all of our unique moments throughout the day. My husband and I are high school sweethearts. We got married one month after our 10 year anniversary, and they went above and beyond to help us incorporate the meaningful, personal touches we wanted for both us and our guests. It truly felt like OUR wedding in every sense. One thing to keep in mind is that it is Miami, so having a weather backup plan is essential. That said, they make sure to execute Plan B flawlessly if needed. We had storms all week leading up to our wedding, but the day before turned absolutely beautiful and even brought in a slight cold front, which is a gift in Miami in March. When we first booked, Frank, the owner (who is also amazing) told us that in all their years of hosting events/weddings, it had only rained twice. After our experience, I am convinced there is a little bit of magic on those acres because we had nothing but rainbows the day before and sunshine and breeze day of. Regardless of the torrential downpours all week. All in all, look no further... Spur of the Moment Ranch is THE venue! 1st best decision: saying yes to the love of my life 2nd best decision: saying "I do" at Spur of the Moment

All-In-One Venue
When I first started wedding planning on my own, it quickly became an overwhelming experience. Where to start? What vendors do I need to book? When do I need to book each vendor? I’m not someone who knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding or knew how to plan any type of event, so I began to search for inclusive wedding venues. Once we found Spur Of The Moment Ranch, we knew it was the one for so many reasons. One: The people. Frank and Laura are such genuinely kind and personable people. You can tell they love what they do. They were incredibly helpful and prompt with all our questions throughout the planning process. They talk highly about their staff and now that I’ve seen what their staff can do, I couldn’t agree more. The caterer, the DJ, the bartenders, the coordinators, the valet, and even the outside vendors they recommended to us were all so professional, kind, and amazing at what they do. Two: The venue itself. This venue is beautiful and it truly shines brightest at night. Most of our guest feedback was about how fun the wedding was and how stunning the venue was. Our ceremony was at the gazebo, cocktail hour was in a new outdoor area offered, dinner was in the dining area, and dancing was in the barn all on the same property! At first, I was a bit skeptical about the different locations because I had never been to a wedding where the dining area was separate from the dancing area, but it was perfect! There are still tables and areas to sit in the barn with dancing, and I just loved how we were able to utilize so many different spaces on this beautiful property. It made it feel extra unique. Three: The optional honeymoon barrel. There is a honeymoon barrel on the venue property that the couple can stay in the night of the wedding. This was such a unique experience. It’s a cute little 1 bed/1 bath and it was a perfect end to our night! It was quiet and peaceful. Such a bonus to not have to drive anywhere after such a long day! Everyone at Spur Of The Moment Ranch was so professional and knew exactly how to guide us through. It was everything I needed and more. Due to the professionalism and coordination at this venue, we were able to truly be present and soak in every moment the day of. Everything went so smoothly and we were stress-free, which was our goal. I’m so grateful we found this gem of a venue!

Above and Beyond
If you’re looking for a venue that actually cares about you, Spur of the Moment is it. Frank’s energy and love for this place instantly hooked us during our first tour. He spoke about his team like family—and after our wedding, we completely understand why. Jessica was a dream to work with. She eased every single bridal worry I had and never made me feel like a burden—even when I texted late at night with last-minute questions. Chef Ida… WOW. The food was incredible. Our guests would not stop talking about how good everything was. And Belkis—truly a real-life superhero. She listened, anticipated, solved problems before they became problems, and even picked up our last-minute decor from our Airbnb because I was late to my own wedding (oops). She made sure we ate, drank, laughed, and enjoyed every moment. The venue is gorgeous—from the open pavilion to the rustic barns. We originally wanted the red barn, but honestly? The white barn turned out stunning and felt so right. This team turned chaos into magic and treated us like family. We will forever be grateful.

Jan 10th wedding
Our wedding was Jan 10th of this year and we would highly recommend this place to anyone!! We initially came just to tour a year before our wedding and ended up falling in love with the place and booking immediately. It is the perfect mix of simple beauty we wanted for our special day with really cute details to make the place extra special like bride & groom get ready suites that are super personalized. Leading to our wedding everyone from the owners, florist, dj, and wedding coordinator Jessica were absolutely amazing to work with and very detailed to make our day run smoothly. Shoutout to Jessica and her team who are the hidden gems making all the details perfect and stress free for wedding day, they are truly amazing at what they do.our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Everything turned out beautifully and guests were in awe of the venue. Dj eddy was amazing and kept the dance floor going out guests would’ve partied forever with the best energy. We stayed in the overnight barrel which is another feature of the venue that allows couples to stay overnight after the wedding. It is the perfect cozy place to stay and we loved it. Over all we are still in awe of how perfect our wedding day was and it was because of this beautiful venue and the people that make it amazing. Thank you so much Love, Kelly and jd (bride & groom)

It does not get better than this
From the moment we first saw the venue, we fell in love with its rural yet well-manicured charm. As a former Marine, Frank, the owner, runs a well-oiled machine and leaves no room for unprofessionalism or half measures. His staff are not only stellar at what they do but also passionate and are there to ensure that you have the time of your life. The wedding coordinators, Jess and Frida were always on top of things and ever so sweet and kind. The DJ, Eddie, is truly dedicated to his craft and knew exactly what to play to keep the masses dancing; I really appreciate that he is an Iron Maiden fan too. Alas, my wife said "no metal" at the reception :). The rest of the staff—whose names, unfortunately, I don't recall—were hard workers and friendly whenever we needed any help. The facilites are structurally sound and tastefully decorated. The property grounds are professionally manicured, and not a single blade of grass is out of place. We enjoyed every single minute of our wedding, and the only downside is that we could not make it last for three days straight. Time really does fly when you are having fun.
