    Amazing Choice for a Planner

Ivory Tide planned my wedding and did month of coordination for my best friend. She is absolutely amazing at what she does. I saw a text from one of her assistants posted in her story “watching you do day of coordination is an art. I swear I saw you in two places at once.” And that perfectly describes her and her team. She takes so much pride in her work

    THE BEST AROUND

I can’t recommend this wedding planner enough! She is incredibly organized, creative, and truly passionate about making every couple’s special day unforgettable. She pays attention to every little detail, communicates so well throughout the planning process, and genuinely cares about bringing each couple’s vision to life. If you’re looking for someone who will make wedding planning feel less stressful and more exciting, she is the perfect choice. Her professionalism, kindness, and dedication really shine through, and I know she will go above and beyond to make your wedding day everything you’ve dreamed of. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone planning a wedding!

Rain is always something we prepare for long before your wedding day. For any celebration with outdoor elements, we work with you and your venue to establish a beautiful and functional backup plan in advance. Never a last-minute scramble. We closely monitor weather conditions leading up to your wedding and coordinate any necessary adjustments with your venue and vendor team. Our goal is simple: whether Plan A or Plan B is unfolding, your guests should feel as though it was the plan all along.
For weddings taking place during hurricane season, severe weather contingency planning is an important part of the process. We closely monitor developing tropical systems and maintain communication with your venue and vendor team as your wedding approaches. If a storm threatens travel, causes mandatory evacuations or closures, or makes it unsafe for your celebration to proceed, we assist in coordinating the necessary changes and help navigate logistics with your vendors. We also strongly recommend wedding insurance for celebrations taking place during hurricane season for an additional layer of protection.
Florida heat and humidity are considered throughout the entire planning process. From ceremony timing and guest comfort to vendor setup, florals, desserts and photography. We strategically structure the timeline to minimize unnecessary time outdoors during peak heat and keep temperature-sensitive details protected for as long as possible. On wedding day, our team also comes prepared with heat-conscious emergency supplies and works behind the scenes to keep everyone as comfortable as possible without sacrificing the experience or aesthetic of your celebration.
Summer: Florida summer afternoons can bring intense heat, humidity and passing thunderstorms, so we typically recommend scheduling outdoor ceremonies closer to sunset whenever the venue and timeline allow. This often provides more comfortable temperatures, softer lighting for photography and a better overall guest experience. Winter: Southwest Florida winters offer much more flexibility. Depending on the venue, ceremonies can often begin earlier in the afternoon while still providing comfortable temperatures. We look at the season, sunset time, shade and how the sun will actually fall across the space at the time your guests are seated.
A deposit is required to officially secure your wedding date. I offer two flexible payment options so you can choose what works best for you: • 50/50 Payment Plan: A 50% deposit is due at booking, with the remaining 50% due four weeks before your wedding date. • Monthly Payment Plan: A 20% deposit is due at booking, followed by equal monthly installments, with the final payment due eight weeks before your wedding date. Your wedding date is officially reserved once your contract is signed and the initial deposit is received.
During your consultation, we’ll talk through your wedding vision and everything you’ve planned so far. From your estimated guest count and venue ideas to the overall look, feel, and experience you’re envisioning for your day. I’ll also walk you through my planning process, services, and answer any questions you may have. Most importantly, the consultation gives us a chance to get to know each other and make sure we’re the right fit. If we both feel it’s a great match, I’ll put together a custom proposal with the package and level of support I recommend specifically for your wedding.
We proudly serve couples throughout Southwest Florida and the Florida Keys year-round. During the summer months, we also accept weddings throughout Boston and the surrounding areas with no additional destination or travel fee. Planning a wedding outside of these areas? We’re happy to travel! Reach out to discuss your destination and any applicable travel fees.
Yes! I maintain a curated list of preferred vendors based on the area where you’re getting married. These are professionals I trust and feel confident recommending based on their quality of work, professionalism, and reliability. You are never required to choose from my preferred vendor list, but it can be a great starting point when building your wedding team. As an added perk, some of my preferred vendors also offer exclusive discounts or special pricing to Ivory Tide Weddings clients.
Yes! My team and I are happy to handle the setup of your personal wedding décor, such as signage, table numbers, place cards, favors, candles, guest book displays, and other decorative details included within the scope of your package. Standard décor setup does not include furniture, electrical or electronic installations, or items weighing more than 75 pounds. If your wedding requires large or heavy items to be moved, we do offer an additional setup service that can be added to your package. We’ll review your setup needs ahead of time so there are clear expectations and a plan in place well before the wedding day.
Thankfully, the co-owner of the company as well as one of my assistants has worked almost every single wedding with me. They know my process, they know how to work like I do. They usually accompany me as assistants on the day of the wedding. However, they are fully capable of running a wedding without me. They will fill in for me on the rare occasion that I become ill.
