This quaint Chicago venue, originally part of the 1933-34 World's Fair, provides breathtaking, crystal-clear skyline views framed by heavenly meadows. Promontory Point is a seasonal facility open May-October.

Perched on the scenic shores of Lake Michigan, Promontory Point offers a unique and charming setting for any event. The historic Fieldhouse is a magnificent indoor space featuring exposed brick walls, a soaring wood-beamed ceiling, and large French doors that open out to the water. For those who want to embrace the outdoors, the Lakefront Patio provides a truly magical experience. Located just steps from the water, this stone veranda offers breathtaking, panoramic views of the lake and the Chicago skyline, making it a perfect spot for a romantic ceremony or a lively cocktail hour. The Front Patio provides a welcoming and spacious entry point.

Description

Our Ceremony Only package is perfect for couples looking for a beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony. This option provides four hours of venue access, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Your ceremony must begin no later than noon to ensure enough time for a seamless event. While additional hours before 10 a.m. may be available, we are unable to accommodate extensions past 2 p.m. Please note that this package does not include time for a rehearsal.

Receptions Only

Description

You'll have venue access from 3 pm to 11 pm, with all guests departing by 11 pm. You can also purchase an additional hour, from 11 p.m. to midnight, for teardown and pickup. For those who want more time, you can extend your rental by a minimum of three hours to create a noon to 11 p.m. reservation. If you plan to tent one of our patios, a noon to 11 p.m. reservation is required. Tenting both patios requires an 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. reservation. This package does not include time for a rehearsal.

Enjoy the convenience of hosting both your ceremony and reception at our venue with the Ceremony and Reception package. You'll have access to the space from noon to 11 p.m., allowing ample time for both events. You can also purchase an additional hour, from 11 p.m. to midnight, for teardown and cleanup. Please note that all guests must have left the facility by 11 p.m., and teardown must be completed by midnight. This package does not include time for a rehearsal.
