Located in the heart of Old Ellicott City, Lola Art House is a warm, modern venue featuring large windows throughout the space that fill the venue with natural light while overlooking charming Main Street and the river. As evening falls, soft string lights create a cozy, inviting glow, adding warmth and ambiance for unforgettable celebrations. The venue offers a spacious main event area, two private rooms, and flexible layouts ideal for engagement parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, intimate receptions, and other private celebrations. One of the private rooms can also be be used as a bridal suite, providing a comfortable space to get ready or enjoy quiet moments before the celebration. Blending artistic character with a clean, elegant design, Lola Art House provides a welcoming setting that can easily be customized to reflect your vision. Outside catering is welcome, giving couples the flexibility to create a celebration that feels uniquely their own.

    Perfect date night!

    Such a beautiful space in ellicott city. Truly a hidden gem. The lighting is great in the evening and the view of the river is also nice. We definitely recommend this spot for small events.

    Wonderful!!!!!

    We had a great experience hosting our event at Lola Art House. The space was clean, welcoming, and had a warm atmosphere that made everyone feel comfortable. The team was responsive, easy to work with, and made the planning process smooth from start to finish. Our guests had a wonderful time, and everything came together just as we hoped. If you’re looking for a unique venue with great service, I’d definitely recommend Lola Art House.

    Historically beautiful and warm

    We had a beautiful bridal shower at Lola’s Art Cafe, and it was such a lovely experience! The venue was charming, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. It was the perfect setting to celebrate with family and friends. Highly recommend for intimate events and special occasions!

Lola Art House offers private on-site parking for the couple or guest of honor. While guest parking is not available on-site, several public parking lots are located within a short walking distance of the venue in Historic Old Ellicott City. For larger celebrations, we're also happy to help coordinate shuttle service for your guests.
At this time, Lola Art House is located on the third floor of a historic building and is not wheelchair accessible. If you have questions about accessibility or specific accommodation needs, please reach out we're happy to discuss your event and any available options.
