About this venue
“Downtown’s Lexington’s Most Elegant Event Destination” Discover timeless elegance in the heart of downtown Lexington. Limestone Hall occupies the top floor of the Historic Fayette County Courthouse, a Richardsonian Romanesque masterpiece constructed between 1898 and 1900. The restored dome rotunda, original to the building, creates a breathtaking backdrop for wedding ceremonies, mingling space or cocktail hour that your guests will never forget. Two grand event rooms connected by the stunning rotunda offer flexible configurations for celebrations of all sizes. The neutral color palette provides a sophisticated canvas for any theme, while floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the space in natural light. Located at the corners of Main, Short, and Upper Streets, your guests will appreciate walkable access to downtown hotels, restaurants, and entertainment. We do offer the option here to rent just one of the event rooms or the entire space depending upon your needs and vision!
