Bayou Bluegrass Catering is a full-service catering and event planning company serving Lexington and surrounding areas since 1998. We believe that amazing food is one of the most important elements of any event! From our cajun roots to our bluegrass heritage, Bayou Bluegrass' food is second to none and destined to impress. We are Kentucky Proud, sourcing many local ingredients. Our skilled chef staff will create a menu that your guests will be talking about for years to come! We also offer some fun themed options including Southern, Cajun, BBQ, Kentucky Style, Luau, Spanish and Italian.

We LOVE providing our services at various venues and locations throughout the Bluegrass. Our goal is to make things as easy as possible for your wedding planning. We can provide as much or as little as you like for your celebration including food & beverage, bar service, and event rentals. Our event managers are available to help you with various aspects of the planning process from vendor and decor recommendations to day-of supervision.

Y’all…I cannot tell you how happy we are to have worked with Bayou Bluegrass for our wedding day!!! Casey worked with us on all the details from the food to place settings and was so nice and communicative! On the day-of, we had tons of compliments on the food! People are always nice about things on your wedding day, but having also eaten it myself as the bride, I can confirm it was DELICIOUS! I wish I could have that meal every night for a straight week lol! And the highlight of the day - RENNE!!!! Oh my goodness I could sing this woman’s praises forever! Renne lead the catering team that day and she was SO sweet! She made sure my husband and I had a plate of hors d’oeuvres waiting for us when we got to our sweetheart table, that we had drinks throughout the night, brought us our dinner plates, and made sure all our loved ones were well taken care of. I’m still in awe at how her and the team jumped right in without us having to lift a finger! Wedding Day is almost a blur with all the moving parts and jumping from one place to the next, and I can’t tell you what a huge help it was to have Renne and the team take care of us. She even set out extra drinks at the end of the night and made us to-go boxes! We felt so cared for and well-fed! If you’re looking for a caterer, I can’t recommend Bayou Bluegrass enough!!!
