Basil & Mint Hospitality Group is a Louisville-based, full-service catering company specializing in weddings, private events, and corporate gatherings. As owner and Executive Chef, I take a hands-on approach to every event, from developing menus to overseeing the final execution. Our focus is on preparing exceptional food using quality ingredients, providing professional service, and creating an experience that feels personal to each client. We’ve built our reputation through consistency, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to making sure every event is executed to the highest standard.

We believe great catering comes down to more than just the food. It’s about preparation, communication, and having an experienced team that knows how to execute. We offer thoughtfully developed menus, flexibility in accommodating our clients’ preferences, and a hands-on approach from the initial consultation through the event itself. Our culinary team prepares our food in-house, and our professional service staff handles the details so our clients can enjoy their celebration. We take pride in being dependable, organized, and delivering the same level of care whether we’re serving 50 guests or 250.

Top-tier caterer who treats you like family.
Basil Mint Hospitality Group catered our daughter’s wedding and we were so happy with the quality, value, presentation, ease of working with them, that we asked them to cater another! Several guests asked for his name and said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. He created a cocktail hour charcuterie table, an iced coffee bar, in addition to the passed appetizers, buffet, desserts, and evening snack. The dinner for 250 was fantastic, and hot. He made sure we didn’t run out, also. George is making a name for himself and we are excited to recommend him highly.

Great food and amazing service
Working with Basil Mint Hospitality Group was a breeze from start to finish. Their team got back to us quickly and always had a positive attitude, which made the planning process stress-free. With their extensive menu options, we found exactly what we wanted for our guests, and the portions were generous so nobody left hungry. The food quality impressed people at our wedding—one guest mentioned they'd attended three weddings that month and said ours had the best food by far. Beyond catering, the staff helped us break down the venue and clean up afterward, which saved us so much time and energy. We felt taken care of every step of the way and would definitely recommend them to other couples.

Amazing!
Basil & Mint hit it out of the park for my daughter‘s wedding October 10th! The food was amazing with everyone saying it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding! George was amazing to work with from the food tasting appointment straight through to the wedding reception! His communication is top-notch and always got back to us immediately when we reached out. The staff that they put together was courteous, professional and polite! We could not have picked a better catering team!

Catered us the perfect wedding!
My husband and I hired Basil & Mint to cater our wedding April 2024, and we could not have been more impressed with the quality of both the food and the service. The Owner and Head Chef, George, took great care in understanding our food preferences and curated a beautifully balanced menu that truly impressed us and our guests! Some of our personal favorite selections were the Burrata-Prosciutto Paninis, Pork Belly Skewers, and Lamb Chop carving station. In addition to the quality of food, the Basil & Mint staff provided outstanding service - professional, attentive, and friendly - creating an elevated and seamless dining experience. We wholeheartedly recommend Basil & Mint!

100% recommended!! We couldn’t have asked for a better caterer for our wedding! George and his team were great!! They went above and beyond! The food was absolutely delicious and the set up was perfect! We’ve received compliments from our guests on how good the food was! Also, they were all so kind and helpful. So glad we booked Basil and Mint!
