This former youth camp and National Park Visitor Center turned special event venue has rustic charm and earthy elegance to spare. Breathtaking views of Ohio’s National Park woodlands, rock outcroppings, and hiking trails provide an excellent backdrop to mark your special day. To ensure all aspects of your day are covered, our guest services team will help you plan your event and be with you on your special day. For the convenience of your guests, Happy Days Lodge is located only 30 minutes from Cleveland and Akron.

Great Hall

The ideal setting for a memorable wedding!

Our 4,000 square-foot Great Hall and breezy screened-in porch—all surrounded by a rolling meadow—provide the ideal setting for a memorable wedding. This unique venue, built in the 1930’s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, is on the national register of historic places and is a gorgeous example of a wormy chestnut and sandstone structure. The Great Hall can host up to 200 guests for a seated dinner.

    Third of July Wedding

    The staff here were so kind! So communicative, answered every concern we had, and we felt like they were there for us and with us every step of the way. On wedding day, we felt very supported. The venue itself is so pretty, and for a very affordable price. We wouldn’t have picked anywhere else!

Chairs, Tables and parking are all included.
We offer lighting/sound, wifi and access to outside vendors.
By booking one of the Conservancy’s venues, your wedding will help support trails, volunteers, and outdoor education in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. After your event, you can come to the park and beam with pride when you see volunteers planting trees, or youth experiencing the wonders of nature at the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center.
