About this venue

Hi, my name is Iso, one of the founders of Forage Kitchen. Since 2017, our mission has been to support Oakland entrepreneurs by providing kitchen space, promotional help, and event organization. To support that mission, we rent our space throughout the year for weddings, corporate events, and parties of all kinds. Our space offers a full commercial kitchen, great outdoor space with overhead lighting, and most importantly, a fully stocked bar! With seating capacity for 160 and standing room for 230, it’s great for events of all kinds, and live music is always welcome!

Our outdoor space is a beautiful venue for any event. With warm overhead bistro lighting, an ivy covered wall perfect for photos, and a secure gate to close off the space. With room for farm table seating for your whole party, and even space for a dance floor and photo booth to spare. A perfect venue that is both urban and secluded.

Our high season is summer and fall, those are the best times for beautiful days and warm nights in Oakland.
Unfortunately not, our license doesn't allow it...
Your reservation includes eight hours from start to finish, including the time it takes our staff to set up and clean up. Any additional time will be billed at $300 per hour.
No, but there are paid lots very close, and we're close to public transportation. Most couples rent shuttles to bring their guests to the venue, its easiest that way.
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible!
Late winter is our off peak time. Hard to predict if it will rain in CA in the winter. With that said, our space tents up beautifully, and you can reserve a tent just in case, then cancel if it looks like it'll be sunny.
