Castalia Farms is a countryside wedding venue situated in Castalia, OH. This waterfront farm and barn venue exudes traditional rustic charm and is home to adorable farm animals. Modern elements and elegantly appointed accents blend perfectly with this historic estate’s original essence. The original barn at Castalia Farms dates back to the nineteenth century and is home to both indoor and outdoor event spaces. There are several scenic ceremony sites on the grounds to choose from, with lake views, rolling fields, and willow trees providing a romantic backdrop. The barn and pavilion are transformed for evening receptions, where you are free to decorate according to your theme and vision. You are free to select outside vendors of your choice for catering, decor, entertainment, and more. Overnight accommodations ensure that wedding parties enjoy a restful night before the pre-ceremony preparations begin in private rooms featuring plush furnishings and ample space.

Our venue is located on a serene 200 acres with courtyards, cottages, pavilion, game room, 1800’s barn, lake and more! You get the entire event space for your special day! So use your imagination and be creative because we can customize the different areas for you and your guests. We provide tables and chairs for 150. Over this amount they must be rented. You can choose to include our two cottages that have 12 beds and 3 full bathrooms. Or you can just book day of without cottages. This affects the price. You can choose whichever vendors you prefer!

    If you aren’t looking for a venue that you can have for the whole weekend, change that right now! Castalia Farms has EVERYTHING! The grooms cottage and bridal cottage make it so easy to get ready separately the morning of your wedding. I’ve been in so many weddings where people are running from salons to hotels to venues to this location for photos etc. and you barely enjoy the day that way. I felt so relaxed hanging out with my girls with our hair and makeup being done on site. THEN! The property is BEAUTIFUL. There are so many places for photos, multiple venue options, etc. I cannot recommend Castalia farms enough. It was absolutely perfect.

    Amazing Place

    I cannot think of a nicer and more private venue I had visited before deciding to do my reception here. So big a place for guests to roam. Neat buildings with interesting history. Really diverse property that just makes it an intriguing place to be.
