PointView Hall and Terrace

PointView Hall at Carnegie Science Center, a venue located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, combines a unique blend of both science and beauty.

With spectacular views of the Pittsburgh skyline, PointView Hall inside Carnegie Science Center’s PPG SCIENCE PAVILION™ is a picture-perfect venue for wedding receptions, holiday parties, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, corporate receptions, lectures, galas, fundraisers, and other festivities. The stunning view of the skyline from the outdoor terrace adds an air of sophistication to this event space that you won’t find elsewhere.

Description

The ceremony takes place on the Mt. Washington side of PointView Hall. The room will be divided with pipe and drape. Once guests head to the cocktail hour location, the rest of PointView Hall will be set for the reception. You can host your cocktail hour in either our interactive exhibit space or our classic RiverView Café & Terrace. All events held at Carnegie Science Center are exclusively catered by our award-winning, in-house catering partner Culinaire.

You can host both your cocktail hour and reception in PointView Hall—PointView Hall would be set for the reception with some hightops near the bars and on the terrace (weather permitting). Or, you could host your cocktail hour in our interactive exhibit spaces or classic RiverView Café & Terrace. All events held at Carnegie Science Center are exclusively catered by our award-winning, in-house catering partner Culinaire.

Theater Ceremony and Reception

Description

Get married in our Buhl Planetarium, where guests can watch your out of this world nuptials, or Works Theater, where your guests will be electrified for your "I-dos". Hold your cocktail hour and reception on an exhibit floor or PointView Hall. All events held at Carnegie Science Center are exclusively catered by our award-winning, in-house catering partner Culinaire.
