I love a good party, but I love planning one even more! Studio AH specializes in wedding planning and coordination services for the Carolinas. I hope we get a chance to work together and get your party started!

You should know we're total nerds for every single detail that goes into creating magic. Bring on the vendor hiccups, the timeline surprises, the family drama, the "oh-no" moments, and yes, even the happy tears! Those crazy, heart-pounding moments are where we come alive, and honestly, not everyone can say they genuinely love the beautiful chaos of it all. We're down to ditch our cute shoes and hustle to make sure your event is spectacular. There is literally nothing more incredible than being right there with our clients as they live out the most amazing day of their lives – and that rush is exactly what keeps us coming back for more!

Description

We’ll take the lead on essentially everything, from setting your budget to sussing out design plans, handpicking your venue and vendors, managing your guest list, reviewing and negotiating contracts, and creating manageable timelines to keep you on track with all of your to-dos. We'll be there every step along the way and continue to be all-hands-on-deck when it comes to the actual day itself.

If you like the idea of being more hands-on with your wedding planning, but still want some help, partial planning and coordination may be the route for you! We'll stick with you throughout the planning process as a trusted advisor and then pull it all together in the final stretch and execute on the big day.

Month of coordination services aren’t there to help you choose or secure vendors, or design the look and feel of the day. However, we do help pull all the details together and make sure things run smoothly on the day of the wedding. This includes timeline creation, at least one venue walk-through about 30 days from your wedding and vendor communication leading up to the big day!

    The best of the best

    I could not recommend Alyssa more! I had so much fun planning our wedding with her. She felt as much like a friend as she did our planner. She turned our dream wedding into a reality by finding vendors that fit our vision. She gave amazing advice and guidance throughout the entire planning process She is a true professional and easy trust!

    AMAZING

    I was a bridesmaid in one of the weddings Alyssa planned, with Alyssa also being a bridesmaid in that wedding! She made everything seem so easy and stress free! We knew exactly where to go, what to do, and when to go! She was able to make sure everything went according to plan, if there was anything that went “wrong,” no one knew. All of the other vendors respected her and worked very well with her, especially the photographer and day of coordinator!

    Studio AH is TOP TIER!!!

    Alyssa was BORN to be a wedding planner/coordinator. She is genuinely the most perfect person to have by your side during the whole process. She is calm when you get overwhelmed, she is diligent when your mind is everywhere and most importantly, she is kind and empathetic at all times, because she knows how important this event is. Three words to describe the professional results we saw from her work were organized, proactive and successful. I can't say enough great things in one review, but if you take the chance to hire this company, you will not be disappointed and more so, you'll be RELIEVED.     Studio AH was incredible!!!

    Our wedding was so perfect and exactly what we were hoping for - we could not have done any of it without Studio AH! From the beginning, Alyssa gave us incredible vendor recommendations and even went with us in person to meet with vendors on multiple occasions. Alyssa was in constant communication with us for months leading up to the big day and consistently checked in with us. The day of the wedding was 1000% STRESS FREE because Alyssa was there to ensure everything ran smooth as ever. We seriously could not have done any of it without Alyssa and absolutely recommend anyone hire Studio AH! Literally could not say enough good things! Would hire her again in a heartbeat!     The best coordinator!

    I cannot say enough good things about Alyssa! She truly does it all - she had contact solution ready when I got makeup in my contact, helped a groomsmen get a wine stain out of his tux, captured moments on our disposable cameras, and probably a million other little things that we didn’t even see! She was somehow attentive to our every need while also coordinating with all of our vendors to make sure the day went perfectly. Alyssa is professional and prepared while also being positive and fun, which is probably why our entire bridal party and families were so complimentary of her. Do yourself a favor and hire her!!


We’ve been in the wedding industry for a long time. When I started in this business in 2012, we were still using walkie-talkies throughout the events because Apple watches hadn’t hit the market yet! We’ve come a long way since then and learned A LOT about what makes a wedding beautiful, go smoothly and exceed the expectations of our clients. Our style is: calm and honest. This is true for the planning process (we will tell you if an idea you have won’t work out) and on the wedding day (when your wedding planner is calm, it’s a lot easier for you to enjoy the day).
The venue event coordinator and wedding planner are both crucial to your wedding day going smoothly and play different roles. The venue event coordinator’s job is to focus on the aspects of the venue that affect your wedding such as maintaining the grounds, food and beverage service, and responsibilities directly related to the venue. Your wedding planner’s job is to coordinate your vendors, run your ceremony rehearsal, design your wedding, and is your go-to for all wedding-specific questions.

Our packages range from $3000- $7,700 and our most popular package (partial planning) averages $5,500. All our packages are custom-created for your wedding, and the price of each is listed on our Services page. After a brief discovery call to learn about your style, vision, and ideas for your wedding, we can recommend the right package for you. Our prices are based on many factors (location, number of guests, design, the complexity of the event, etc.).
Your wedding planner is the vendor you will work the closest with and the most during your wedding planning. They are also the representative of your vision to the other vendors on your wedding day. Experience and vendor relationships really count when it comes to your wedding planner. We recommend you pick someone that you are excited about, feel like you click with after you talk to them, and they get you. When we work with couples we want it to feel like a friend is planning their wedding with them. We take on a limited number of weddings each year, to ensure that each couple gets plenty of attention and quick replies to emails.
We can work miracles and bring wedding visions to life. However, our superpowers do have limits! Under no circumstances can we serve or handle food, cut cake, serve alcohol, or provide transportation. We're also not responsible for bussing guest tables or managing trash throughout the venue. Most of those tasks are the role of other wonderful vendors, like caterers and bartending services, that will help create a streamlined wedding experience for you.
We take on a limited number of weddings each year, to ensure that each couple gets plenty of TLC from us. That means our couples work directly with our lead planner, Alyssa, throughout the planning process. In some cases, we'll bring an event assistant to help out on your big day, and if the size and scope of your event need extra support, we'll discuss that in our discovery meeting.
Our tired little feet would never allow it! We only ever take on one wedding per weekend, and almost never more than one per month.
We do! We offer a-la-carte services that couples may add to their wedding package, wherever they might need extra planning and coordination support.
Yes! Let’s face it: A big wedding just isn’t for everyone. A micro wedding is an intimate affair, typically with no more than 30 guests. They still feature time-honored traditions that make a wedding but on a much smaller scale. Let us take care of everything from planning to execution to curate your elopement to perfection. Reach out for pricing!
We believe in fiscal responsibility! At Studio AH, we have found that weddings under $40,000 aren't a fit for us. Why? We like to recommend spending no more than 10–15% of your total wedding budget on a wedding planner's fees. So you can imagine spending $3000+ on us (if your wedding budget is closer to $20k-$30k) might not make room in your budget for all the things you want to plan the perfect wedding celebration! That said, your budget for a wedding planner should be whatever makes the most sense for your stress and income levels—which vary from person to person!
Absolutely! If your venue requires a certificate of insurance (also commonly referred to as a "COI"), we will issue that.
