Couldn’t have done it without her!

Erika and team were amazing!! We loved working with her for a year leading up to the wedding. She was very organized, super helpful in reaching out to vendors, and kept us on track. As the most got closer to the wedding, she was so accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. Wedding weekend wouldn’t have been the same without her team. I can’t imagine having a wedding without her there to make all the decisions and make the day run so smoothly! I know that things went wrong, but I have no idea what they were because she handled everything for us. She goes above and beyond for her clients and make sure that they have no stress is on their wedding day. She even drove us home on our wedding night as the bus left us! She is top tier.

    Love Erika

Erika was hands down the best thing to happen to me during planning. She was exactly what we were looking for when we started to plan our wedding. She was super patient with all our questions during the planning process (because it was a destination to The Barn on Mullan in Missoula, Montana) and during the days just prior to our wedding. She took special interest in what my husband and I wanted specifically and took to the last-minute changes like an absolute champ! I really love and Im fan of Erikas work! She combines an exquisite artistic taste for every detail with all the practical skills and knowledge of how to handle all wedding aspects, so professional always! She is a gifted wedding planner and deeply loves and enjoys what she does. I feel that must be what makes the big magic of her weddings. Erika, from the bottom of our hearts, you are so sweet, down to earth, and personable! Thank you for making 9.2.23 the best date for not only us, but our family and friends as well.

    The Best!

I hired Erica and Plum Tree sight unseen. I was planning a wedding reception after an elopement and I needed help as I was just too busy and distracted to do myself. However, I still wanted an elegant, but relaxed affair to celebrate my wedding. Erika exceeded all my expectations. With the exception of one or two, every question she asked me was answered, do whatever you think is best. So I can honestly say she pretty much did everything for me and my reception was AMAZING! She matched colors with some flowers she only saw pics of, she folded napkins and placed menu cards like a boss, and she coordinated with my vendors like the pro she is. You can not go wrong hiring her for your event. I could not be happier. Whatever event you are planning, she is all you need!

As your wedding consultant, I meticulously gather all details about your vision and preferences. I then craft a stress-free roadmap, ensuring easy planning. I refer vendors, handle logistics, and make sure every detail is remembered and I'm your constant companion, keeping you on track and serving as your supportive sounding board throughout every step of this beautiful journey.
A wedding consultant is your key to a stress-free and enchanting celebration. With intricate knowledge of the industry, they navigate complexities, ensuring seamless logistics, and vendor coordination. From crafting personalized visions to troubleshooting unforeseen challenges, a wedding consultant transforms your dream into reality. Their expertise not only saves time and reduces stress but also guarantees an unforgettable experience tailored to your unique love story. Invest in a wedding consultant for a joyous journey, allowing you to savor every magical moment of your once-in-a-lifetime celebration.
A wedding consultant and coordinator serve distinct roles in the wedding planning process. A consultant is a guide from the outset, assisting with vision, vendor selection, and logistics. They're involved throughout, ensuring a cohesive plan. On the other hand, a coordinator steps in closer to the wedding day, managing on-site details and ensuring smooth execution. While a consultant designs the roadmap, a coordinator ensures everything runs seamlessly on the big day. Both are invaluable, offering expertise at different stages for a stress-free and well-executed wedding.
Having both a wedding consultant and coordinator is a fantastic approach for a comprehensive and seamless wedding experience. A consultant will craft your vision, guide planning, and streamline logistics. As the big day approaches, a coordinator steps in to manage on-site details, ensuring flawless execution. It's the perfect duo — from ideation to execution — ensuring your wedding is not just planned, but perfectly realized, allowing you to relish every moment stress-free. We will set up a coordinator and team if you need one.
We either go on an hourly rate or a package of hours you need. We can do as little as 5 hours of consulting for $500 or we can do 50 hours for $2500.
The short answer is no. But we can hire a team for you for set up and depending on the complexity of the wedding, we can be on-site to direct the team to ensure everything goes as we discussed.
As a Consultant, I create timelines and detailed plans so that your tribe can do the groundwork, or the day of coordinator we hire knows exactly what to do. I will have a meeting with the day of coordinator prior to the wedding to make sure they know all the details. If it is a complex setup, I will be on-site to direct your tribe or the coordinator on what they should do.
You absolutely can! Day of Coordinators typically do a Monthly package where they start a month or two before the wedding date to ensure all the details are finalized. And then they show up the day of to set up ad tear down. With a consultant, you may not want a coordinator due to your friends and family wanting to do all the setup and be in control of your day. This is certainly something we discuss in our initial consultation for what would be best for your situation. I can also recommend the best day of coordinators in the area for you if you decide later that you want someone outside your group there.
Yes and no. A venue coordinator only deals with tasks having to do with the venue. They can recommend vendors, but they may or may not set up and clean up. Ask what their duties are and make sure you read the contract.
