She is truly one of those people that just makes everything easier. From the start, she’s calm, organized, and somehow always one step ahead—which is exactly what you need when wedding planning starts to get chaotic. What I loved most is how personal she makes everything. She really listens and takes your vision seriously, but also knows how to guide you when you need it. Nothing feels forced or cookie-cutter—it all just comes together in a way that feels effortless (even though you know she’s working behind the scenes nonstop). And on the day of… you don’t have to think about a single thing. She has it handled. You actually get to be present and enjoy your wedding instead of worrying about timelines or logistics. We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our wedding planner! From the very beginning, she was an incredible source of support, guidance, and reassurance throughout our entire year of wedding planning. My husband and I both had extremely demanding professional lives, and we also experienced some unexpected personal events along the way. There were definitely moments when wedding planning felt overwhelming, but Betsy kept us calm and helped us get it all done! She was always kind, patient, organized, and somehow managed to make us laugh even when we were stressed. She kept us excited about our wedding and reminded us to enjoy the process rather than getting lost in all the details. We always felt like we had someone in our corner who genuinely cared about us and wanted our wedding day to be everything we hoped for. Betsy was worth every single penny and then some. Having her support allowed us to actually enjoy our engagement and wedding day instead of feeling consumed by everything that goes into planning a wedding. Our wedding day was absolutely amazing, and we are so grateful she was such a big part of making it happen. We found Piece of Cake by pure luck two weeks before our wedding and we are so glad we did (my husband and I are definitely not skilled at coordinating)! We hit the ground running with Jess since we had limited time to nail down the details/timeline. We cannot say enough nice things about Jess who helped so much at our planning meetings, rehearsal, and on our wedding day! She communicated promptly with all of our vendors when the timeline or plans changed. On the morning of our wedding, before she was even due to arrive, she was calling multiple places to try and find veil weights (I forgot to buy them!) and was even willing to pick them up herself. She expertly coordinated both of us and our bridal party, especially during moments when none of us knew exactly where everyone was supposed to be. During our first look and bridal party photos, she stood out in the drizzle making sure no one walked behind us, saving us from having to stop and restart the photoshoot while battling the wind and light rain and keeping on track with the timeline. Most importantly, Jess paid attention to the details that mattered to us and made sure everything was exactly how we envisioned it, while also making sure we were actually enjoying our wedding. We honestly don’t know how it’s possible, but with how smoothly everything went, it felt like she was in multiple places at once (we’re convinced she has superpowers). She truly took so much stress off of our shoulders and because of her, we were able to enjoy our day and be present in the moment with each other and our guests. We couldn’t be happier that we hired Piece of Cake, and we feel incredibly lucky that we got to work with Jess. She was truly exceptional and played such a big role in making our wedding day everything we hoped it would be.
