I'm Jade Emry, a wedding & event planner with over five years of experience, now based in beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah. My journey began in Eugene, Oregon, where I had the pleasure of working with some truly incredible people. Today, I’m thrilled to create seamless, memorable weddings that reflect each couple’s unique story. And yes—I love to travel! I’ll happily go wherever your love story takes me, with heavily discounted travel fees for San Antonio, Texas, and surrounding areas, Pocatello, Idaho, and surrounding areas, as well as the Willamette Valley, Oregon.

My passion for planning blossomed while organizing my own wedding. I loved diving into all the little details, but I also learned how stressful the process can be. That’s why I do what I do: to guide you through each step and handle the reins on your special day so you can relax, be present, and truly enjoy every moment. There’s nothing quite like seeing a space transform with the vision my clients have dreamed of. I love piecing together each detail to bring that vision to life, and I take pride in being a steady, reliable presence that you can count on from start to finish.

This package is perfect for the couple planning a destination wedding, doesn’t have time to devote to planning, or if planning a wedding feels a bit overwhelming. We get it, putting all those details together, the checklists, the mood-boards.. it can be a bit much. Luckily, here at J. Emry Events we LOVE all those details.

Partial wedding planning is made for the couple who wants to be involved in the planning process, have a good idea where you’d like it to go, but need some professional tools and experience to help bringing your vision to life.

This package is for the more intimate events, no more than 30 guests. Let us handle all the details that go into your event from “I will” to “I do”. We’ll work with you to bring your dreams and ideas to life whether it is a local or destination wedding.

Day Of Wedding Coordination is perfect for the couple that braved the wedding planning process, put in the research and the hours, and wants a professional to answer any questions and tie up loose ends. We’ll be there to help your wedding day go smoothly so you can kick up your feet and enjoy all the hard work you put in.

    Phenomenal work

    I hired Jade to be my wedding planner for my elopement and for my reception party which was happening several months afterward. She and her assistants are incredibly professional and organized. Jade made a spreadsheet that had everything I needed to organize my wedding and made it super easy to understand. Keeping track of our budget and vendors that we've already hired made it so I wasn't scrambling through my emails to figure out what was happening. It was so much fun and way less stressful planning my wedding because of her and I highly recommend her if you have any events that you need help on!

    Less stressed and Impressed

    Highly recommend J. Emry Events. Jade did such amazing work especially with such short notice on the wedding! She was able to fit us in and I couldn't be more grateful. She is kind and was so pantient with me. She pulled it off and I couldn't be more happy with the results. She took so much stress off my shoulders and took any issues that came our way in stride. Amazing work and I thank her for my wonderful day!

    Yes, you need a planner!

    As a wedding photographer, a planner is key to making sure I can focus on taking photos and not the timeline of a wedding day or any hiccups that arise. My couple could not say enough good things about Jade and her team! She went above and beyond in making sure the day was organized, fun and seamless. Communication was perfect and she handled any issues that came up with ease. Highly recommend Jade for your wedding!

I typically arrive several hours before the event to ensure everything is set up perfectly and stay until the final moments to oversee clean-up and wrap-up. While the exact hours can vary based on the package you choose, I’m fully committed to being there as long as needed to make your day seamless and stress-free. We can discuss specific timing during our planning meetings to ensure I’m there for every important moment!
There will always be a lead coordinator and an assistant at your wedding to ensure everything runs smoothly. The lead coordinator will handle the big-picture details and oversee the timeline, while the assistant focuses on smaller tasks and supports the team. Together, we make sure that every detail is covered, so you can relax and enjoy your special day.
Yes, absolutely! I offer a complimentary one-hour consultation for all inquiries. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, discuss your vision, and explore how I can best support your wedding plans. I’m here to answer any questions and help you feel confident in the planning process from the start!
To reserve your wedding date, a 40% non-refundable retainer and signed contract are required to secure your spot on our calendar. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding. I’m happy to set up a custom payment plan with as many or as few payments as you’d like between the initial deposit and the final balance, making it flexible to fit your needs.
Yes! I absolutely love to travel. For locations beyond a 50-mile radius, there are additional travel fees, which we’ll review in detail during your consultation. I also offer discounted travel rates for select areas outside of Utah, including Chicago, IL, Eugene, OR, and San Antonio, TX, along with their surrounding areas.
Yes! I have a carefully curated list of preferred vendors, from photographers to florists and caterers. These are professionals I’ve worked with personally and trust to deliver exceptional service. I’d be happy to share their information with you to help make your planning process smoother and ensure you have a fantastic team for your big day!
