About All About You Weddings and Events

All About You Weddings and Events

Owner

My experience started in the hotel industry as a catering assistant for a Holiday Inn in Alexandria, Virginia and as the Executive Assistant to the owner and General Manager at the Hilton Hotel in Whittier, California. After moving to New Mexico I started my wedding planning business, All About You Weddings and Events. I was also recruited to teach a wedding planning course at the University of New Mexico’s education extension branch which I did for three years. That experience and the ability to help nurture and help others who wanted to enter the field really helped strengthen my own business.

We strive to make our couples stress free, especially during the planning process. We will always go the extra mile to ensure they have their dream wedding and that nothing gets in the way of their happy day.

In three words: Confident, Flexible, Organized

I've planned well over 100 weddings and they have been quite varied: LGBG couples Outdoor weddings and receptions at client's homes Indoor weddings at hotels and resorts Weddings in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Taos, Tijeras, Tented events - I have experience in working with the tenting companies Small intimate weddings and very large (over 300) weddings
I have my Certified Wedding Planner degree; I was a corporate event planner in California for a large utility where I planned events for up to 1600 employees; I have taught wedding planning at University of New Mexico for 3 years to women/men who want to become planners;
Depending on the size of your event, I may come alone (less than 50) or I may bring one to two of my assistants with me depending on the complexity of the set up and execution
