The Wild & Woven Lens

I'm Christy, the heart and storyteller behind The Wild & Woven Lens, a wedding and portrait photography business near Indianapolis, Indiana. My approach traces back to a seminar on fairytales I took while studying psychology at Butler University. Digging into what those old stories really mean changed how I think about storytelling, and it's where this business was born. I don't just take pictures, I help tell your story, with heart, honesty, and a little bit of magic. I specialize in weddings, engagements, and Keepsake portrait sessions around Indianapolis, Carmel, and Westfield.

Working together feels genuinely personal, clients often tell me it's like collaborating with a friend. I want every couple to feel completely comfortable and entirely themselves in front of my lens. The Wild & Woven Lens is proudly LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and neurodivergent friendly, and I've loved working with couples from every kind of background and love story. My editing style is true to color, muted, and a little moody, with a mix of color, black and white, and vintage toned images in every gallery. I hand edit every single photo myself, no presets, no shortcuts, because your gallery deserves care and attention from start to finish.
