Known as The Perfect Host, Jim Cerone entertains as a DJ and MC for weddings and events throughout Indiana and the Midwest. As an international educator, Jim presents seminars around the US, UK and Australia. After earning a Communication degree from DePauw University, Jim was Music Director for WZPL, WENS and B105.7. Jim established his mobile DJ business in Indianapolis in 1991. He lives in the Indianapolis area with his wife and sons.

      Jim was so much more than a DJ. He kept the day moving on schedule (made a day of timeline for us and kept speakers on schedule and ready) and kept the party going! Our dance floor was full all night! 10/10 recommend!

      Truly the Best!

      Jim made our wedding amazing and was so great at catering to our needs as a DJ and host! Jim came to our rehearsal to help us practice, then arrived day of in a wonderful tux! He adapted to changing situations on the fly, kept the dance floor full, and made the whole night as smooth as could be imagined! He is worth every penny and then some, absolutely hire Jim Cerone at your next event!!!

    Yes! Meet Jim by appointment at his studio, via FaceTime, Google Hangouts or Zoom. Your schedule is crazy, so Jim is available at your convenience. Call or text 317-507-1049
    If your date is available, you'll get a custom proposal to accept (digitally sign) and pay the booking fee.
    You'll quickly receive a custom quote based on your specific needs: venue location, number of guests, number of spaces you need sound, total playing time and other variables. Set up and tear down are always included (no additional charge).
    After booking, you'll have 3 planning sessions with Jim to create your atmosphere and entertainment agenda. You'll collaborate with Jim on your entire reception, from the minute your first guest arrives to your last dance. If you’re planning from out of town, Jim will arrange to meet you via FaceTime, Google Hangouts or Zoom. The end result? Everyone will have a great time at your party!
    You'll discuss your music preferences with Jim for cocktails, dinner and dancing. You'll give Jim 10 Must Plays and 10 Do Not Plays and he's happy to take requests. Jim’s music library is updated weekly, covers all decades and genres, is legally purchased and includes only “clean” radio edits. *P.S. Jim buys and OWNS every song. Jim will NOT stream music from Spotify or YouTube.
    Jim uses Bose speakers and top quality Shure wireless microphones. Music is played at a comfortable volume so everyone can talk. Jim is all about redundancy and contingency plans – just ask him how many ways he’ll have your music backed up…
    Jim Cerone is the exact opposite of the stereotypical loud, obnoxious, cheesy DJ. Prepared, polished and professional, Jim will make only the necessary announcements and direct the flow of events. Yes! Your wedding will be classy, elegant and FUN!
