I’m Tori, the photographer behind The Lovely Lens. I document weddings and life as it actually unfolds.. My approach is documentary at heart with an editorial eye, focusing on real moments, genuine connection, and the in-between memories that often end up meaning the most. I’m passionate about this work because I believe your photos should feel like you—not a performance, not a checklist. I care deeply about creating space for couples to be present on their wedding day while I quietly tell the story as it naturally happens. Every love story is different, and it’s an honor to preserve it in a way that feels timeless, personal, and true.

I don’t approach weddings as a checklist or a photoshoot—I approach them as a story. My work is rooted in documentary storytelling, with an editorial eye for light, composition, and emotion. That means less posing, more presence, and images that feel honest and lived-in rather than staged. What truly sets me apart is the experience. I’m calm, intuitive, and deeply invested in my couples—not just their photos. I help create space for you to slow down, be yourselves, and actually enjoy your day while trusting that every meaningful moment is being thoughtfully documented.

    A photographer who sees the poetry in people

    Our wedding day photos feel like stepping into a Jane Austen daydream. From the moment we met Tori during our engagement session, we felt instantly at ease. She has a special gift for calming nerves and helping you connect naturally with your partner. After that session, we knew we had to have her with us on our wedding day! We booked the All-Out Disco package, and throughout the entire planning process, Tori was incredible. We had several check-ins before the wedding, and as an excited (and sometimes anxious!) bride, I always appreciated how quickly she responded whenever I had questions. Her communication is exceptional, and her passion for her work shines through in everything she does. What stood out most was how genuinely invested she was in making sure we received the best possible photos. She never rushed a moment and was always willing to spend a little extra time to capture something special. By the end of the experience, she felt less like a vendor and more like part of our family. Tori has an extraordinary ability to capture what love actually feels like. Her work is candid, emotional, timeless, and full of those quiet, beautiful moments that often go unnoticed but mean everything. While we were on our honeymoon in Italy, she sent us a handful of sneak peeks. I'll never forget lying in bed with the windows open, enjoying the spring breeze, and scrolling through those photos in complete awe. Reliving our wedding day through her lens was one of the most special moments of our trip. We are so grateful not only for the beautiful images she created, but for the joy, care, and heart she brought to our wedding day. We couldn't imagine sharing such an important day with anyone else.

    Our Wedding Day

    Tori was AMAZING and so easy to work with! She did our engagement and our wedding day photos, and both came out better than I expected. She was such a team player on the day of our wedding and was able to work on a tight timeframe (while also keeping me calm and in check). Highly recommend and I can’t wait to work with her again in the future!

Yes! Depending on the size and flow of your day, I may work with a second photographer to ensure everything is documented fully and thoughtfully. I also have a trusted network of experienced photographers I collaborate with and trust completely.
Most couples book anywhere from 9–18 months in advance, especially for peak spring and fall dates. That said, I do occasionally have last-minute availability, so it never hurts to reach out! Dates are officially reserved once your contract is signed and the retainer is paid.
Yes—every image you receive is hand-edited by me with care and intention. I don’t outsource editing, and I don’t apply trendy filters. Your photos are edited to feel timeless, true-to-life, and aligned with my signature style.
Yes! I do offer wedding videography through one of my trusted creative team. We work closely together and share a similar storytelling approach—documentary, emotional, and focused on real moments. Having photo and video that flow seamlessly together makes for a really smooth experience on your wedding day, and I’m happy to walk you through video options if that’s something you’re interested in.
You can expect your full wedding gallery within 6–8 weeks. I also love sending sneak peeks shortly after your wedding so you have something to relive right away 🤍
I don’t cap the number of images you receive. You’ll get every meaningful, well-edited photo from your day, typically 25 - 50+ images for each hour of coverage, depending on coverage length and events.
Yes—I’m fully insured, including liability coverage, and can provide a certificate if your venue requires one.
Your day is incredibly important to me. In the rare event of an emergency, I have a solid associate plan in place and access to a network of trusted photographers who shoot in my style. That said, I’ve never missed a wedding, and your coverage is always protected.
