Hi! I’m Emma-Rose, Owner and Lead Photographer at Sandhill Photography. Photographer, world traveler, artist, conversationalist, laid back beach goer, nature lover, adventurer, teacher, friend, I am all this and more. Most of all, I'm someone who can’t wait to meet you and have an opportunity to capture all the nuance of who YOU are! Every picture tells a story, and I look forward to meeting you and learning how to capture and tell yours.

When I began shooting weddings and events, I found that I had the power to tell a person’s story through my lens, an ability which moved my storytellers heart beyond words and gave new life to my art. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and aside from the inspiration I take from my clients lives, clean compositions, vibrant light, and storytelling are all key elements to my photography style, creating a clean, contemporary, photo-journalistic look. Together, we'll work through a series of creative consultations and get to know each other better as we prepare for your wedding and ultimately create a beautiful collection of wedding memories!

    We Found Our Photographer For Life!

    We booked Sandhill Photography with Emma Rose for our engagement shoot and knew right away we had found our photographer for life!She was quick to respond to all our questions and so fun to work with during our first session (our spur of the moment engagement photoshoot - and let me tell you she is AMAZING!) Second photoshoot session (Florida Wedding) When we got married in Florida, she captured breathtaking photos that felt like a dream come true—every shot showed the moments that mattered most to us! We loved working with her so much that we hired her again for a third shoot! Third photoshoot session (Reception: back home) We had her come to our reception out of state, and she delivered the same incredible, breath taking results! Emma Rose has a real eye for finding the precious details and bringing her own creativity to every session! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER! YOU WILL BE ABSOLUTELY AMAZED! :) She truly is incredible and so much fun - her energy, personality and creativity are absolutely captivating!     Wedding Photography

    Working with Sandhill Photography was such a pleasure from start to finish.     Could not be happier with Emma-Rose!

    I could not be happier with our experience with Sandhill Photography! Emma-Rose did such an amazing job with our wedding photos and she is a bright and lovely breath of fresh air. She made us feel so comfortable and took so many pictures I just knew I was going to love them all. And I do love them so much I bought them all at a really great price. Just cannot say enough good things about Emma-Rose and her eye. I was not expecting these photos to turn out so good and I am so incredibly happy with them! We will definitely hire her again next time we are on Anna Maria Island for an anniversary shoot.

    Sandhill Photography is a Cut Above the Rest!

    We had such an amazing experience with Sandhill Photography! Emma-Rose is absolutely outstanding at her craft, and also such a warm and lovely person to work with. Not only are our wedding and engagement photos beautiful, both the engagement session and the wedding day were pleasant, comfortable, and stress-free getting all the poses and shots. Being sword fighters, with strong sword elements throughout our wedding, we definitely had some unique poses and shots, which all came out exactly as we had envisioned. Sandhill Photography is the best choice you can make for your wedding!

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll you can expect to receive your online gallery of images within about 6-8 weeks after your wedding.
Definitely. All final images are edited individually, and will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, sharpness and other details to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge. Extensive Photoshop work is not included in any packages, such requests may be discussed on and individual basis.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
Nope! I'm a one woman show. On wedding days I burn a LOT of calories, you'll see me everywhere! I move around so much and take so many different, creative angles that you'll be surprised that it was just me, but I do what it takes to make that magic happen! In the rare case that a second photographer is required though, that's definitely something that can be added to your package.
This is general advice on the subject: If you're not sure that I'm the right photographer for you then it's not time to book yet, but if your sure I'm the one book your date immediately! All bookings are taken on a first come first served basis. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
Life is filled with the unexpected, and while I hope I'll never face that scenario, I am ready to be with you every step of the way to make sure you have wonderful pictures in this extremely unlikely event. I'll work with you to find another photographer to capture your day. If the circumstances allow, I may come to the event to supervise, or do the edits myself. We'll handle this together!
