Husband & Wife Photography Video Team

This is us, Rachel and Xiwei, the husband and wife team behind Ying Multimedia. We have been photographing weddings across Sarasota, Parrish, Bradenton, and Tampa since 2011. We blend old school charm and modern creativity, offering both photography and videography for weddings. Rachel is a folk music loving, goat snuggling, memory keeping kind of soul. Xiwei is all about tech, edits, and making magic with pixels and lenses. In 2025 we added Jo, our lead cinematographer, and Mariah and James, our in-house Associates team trained personally by us at real weddings.

We love capturing beautiful, magical, one of a kind weddings through both stunning photos and heartfelt films. Whether it's behind the lens with us or through our Associates team Mariah and James, every couple gets the same Ying Multimedia standard. Jo brings cinematic storytelling to every wedding film. We are all about preserving real moments and real love, and getting to know each couple before their big day is what makes this work so meaningful.

    Working with Ying Multimedia was a dream from start to finish. They stayed in constant contact with us and really listened to what we wanted while bringing their own creative touch to every shot. On our wedding day, they captured both the candid moments and the specific photos we'd requested, all while keeping everything running smoothly despite the chaos. What really impressed us was how they went out of their way for our engagement session—they even drove extra distance to accommodate our schedule so we could catch our flight home. Their kindness and easy-going nature made us feel comfortable the entire time. We couldn't have asked for better photographers to document our special day.

    OMG! AMAZING

    They were so attentive and did not miss a thing! We ended up in the pool by the end of the night, and they were there, ready for the action! We had such a fun time and they caught every moment!

    Kind, Creative & Caring - A Great Experience

    Rachel & Xiwei Ying were a pleasure to work with. They provided a stress free environment and delivered an inspired and creative final product that we loved. They are super easy to communicate with and helped us both feel comfortable throughout the day as we captured memories. To top it off, three years after our wedding I lost the bulk of my picture files, and they responded with new links to my files extremely fast. I was so thankful they still had them! Typically, couples book us about 15 months before their wedding date.
We do! Just let us know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and we will send that over to them.
You can expect about 500-800 photographs with an 8-hour wedding. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on multiple factors. We deliver every great photo from your wedding day with no limits.
Definitely, all final images are hand-edited for delivery, you will find each image carefully edited to show it's best.
Yes! In addition to photography, we now offer in-house cinematography through Ying Multimedia. Our lead cinematographer Jo works alongside us to create cinematic wedding films that beautifully complement your photos. Let us know if you would like details on our combined photo and video packages.
In 15 years, we have never missed a wedding. But we plan for the unexpected. Because we operate as a team with Associates and a trusted network of photographers, your day is never left uncovered. If something happened to us, you would still have someone who knows our standard and our workflow there with you. We take this responsibility seriously.
We deliver 3 to 6 sneak peek photos the same night as your wedding, usually within a few hours of the event ending. Your full gallery is delivered within 8 to 12 weeks. During busy seasons with back to back weddings, it may extend to 10 to 14 weeks. We will always keep you updated on where things stand.
Yes. We have an in-house Associates team, Mariah and James, trained personally by Rachel and Xiwei at real weddings across Sarasota, Parrish, Bradenton, and Tampa. Unlike many associate programs where photographers are hired independently and sent out alone, our Associates shoot with our equipment, work within our workflow, and every image they deliver carries the full Ying Multimedia standard.
Yes. Ying Multimedia is a registered business in the state of Florida through SunBiz. We carry liability insurance up to one million dollars and are happy to provide a certificate of insurance to your venue upon request.
Editorial and documentary. We capture your day as it unfolds, not as a series of poses. We are storytellers first, the details, the glances, the in between moments you will not remember but will be grateful you have. Our work is bold, colorful, and real.
Yes, and we recommend them for every couple. An engagement session helps you get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. Couples who do an engagement session with us are visibly more relaxed in their wedding photos, and it shows.
We serve couples across Sarasota, Parrish, Bradenton, Tampa, and Central Florida. We have photographed weddings at venues throughout the region for over 15 years, including Powel Crosley, The Ringling, Bonnet Springs, Bakers Ranch, and The Pavilion at Mixon Farms in Parrish and Bradenton. We have gone as far as Tallahassee and Miami for weddings.
