I’m Jennifer, the photographer behind Rare Rose Photography, an award-winning wedding and engagement photography business based in Altamont, NY. With 10 years of experience, I photograph weddings, elopements, micro weddings, and engagement sessions throughout the Capital Region, Berkshires, Adirondacks, and beyond. Your intimate celebration deserves thoughtful, complete coverage. Four hours allows us to document the moments that matter—from getting ready and the ceremony through portraits, cocktail hour, and the beginning of your reception. With two photographers working together, we can capture both the big moments and the genuine in-between ones. Your images are professionally edited and delivered in a private, high-resolution gallery. Flexible payment plans available. Travel fees are quoted separately.

Absolutely. Flexible payment plans and multiple payment options (Venmo, Zelle, Stripe, installment agreements) are available for all packages. We believe quality photography shouldn't be a financial barrier. Let's work it out together.
I recommend booking 3–6 months in advance during peak season (May–October), especially for Saturdays. Off-season bookings (November–April) can be as short as 4–6 weeks. To secure your date, a $375 nonrefundable retainer is due at booking. The remaining balance can be paid in full before your wedding date, or we can set up a flexible payment plan. Sooner is always better, but I'll do my best to accommodate your timeline.
Yes. Second photographers are included on my Intimate, Classic, and Full Day packages. For Micro Mini and Mini packages, a second shooter can be added upon inquiry. It helps us capture every angle and ensures nothing gets missed.
Yes, every single image is professionally edited. I use Imagen AI with my signature editing styles (warm, airy, and authentic to your skin tones) to bring out the best in each shot. Editing is thoughtful and intentional, not overdone.
You'll get sneak peeks within 2–3 days of your wedding. Full gallery delivery depends on your package size: smaller sessions (Micro Mini, Mini) are edited within 3–4 weeks. Intimate and Classic packages take 4–6 weeks. Full Day or extended coverage (8+ hours) may take 6–8 weeks due to the volume of editing. I prioritize quality over speed—every image gets thoughtful, intentional editing.
Yes. I regularly shoot in the Berkshires, Adirondacks, upstate New York, and Vermont. Travel fees may apply for locations outside my core service areas (Albany, Adirondacks, Berkshires, Saratoga Springs). Let's chat about your location and I'll quote accordingly.
No problem. Custom hours are available at $375/hour. If none of my standard packages fit your vision perfectly, we can build something that works for you. Every wedding is different.
Yes. I carry professional liability insurance and maintain backup camera equipment. In the rare event I'm unable to shoot, I have trusted backup photographers ready to step in. Your day is covered.
