Oak & Ember may be new, but we have many years of experience! Our team is made up of three best friends that have been filming and photographing weddings, sports, events, and much more for 8 years. We are based out of Northern Virginia and we have also traveled to many places in the United States and around the globe photographing and filming weddings. We are always studying and creating new ideas to bring a unique approach to all of our projects.

We approach each wedding with a unique and creative style. We are one of the teams out there that match inspirational boards so whatever style you love, we can match it for you! Whether its Rustic and Moody, or Bright and Airy, or even your own mix of colors, we got you!

    Engagement Session and Upcoming Wedding

    From the moment we connected with Oak & Ember Films, we knew we'd found our photographers. They were incredibly responsive during planning and made the entire process feel easy and fun with their polite and witty approach to communication. Our engagement session blew us away! The photos turned out even better than we expected, with a cinematic quality that really captured who we are.
