I love telling wedding stories, first and foremost, through capturing moments. Your wedding is a one of a kind event from the location to your style and personalities, but it also includes a unique group of people that have come together to celebrate your union. On your wedding day I focus on capturing the love and laughter, the tears and joy, but also the energy of the party! When it's over I give you a gallery of images that will bring all those emotions back every time you pull them up on your computer, share them online, crack open your album, or walk past them on your wall.

Over the years there are three things that my couples have consistently said stood out to them: my relaxed, creative portraiture, fun and stylish wedding party photos, and how I capture real moments (often mentioning the party photos). I combine those three aspects into telling the story of your day.

    If you are looking for a photographer that is a true master of his craft as well as an all-around great person, look no further. Matt Wilson is in my opinion, one of the best wedding photographers out there! From the very first time we talked to Matt, we could tell how easy it was going to be working with him throughout our wedding weekend. Taking one look at his past work also made us feel confident in his approach - a wonderfully raw, moody and emotive narrative of our wedding day (unlike a bunch of posed pictures, although he did those too thanks to our parents ;)) His calm, attentive and composed demeanor, practical advice on what can/cannot be accomplished, ability to deal with last minute changes, and overall artistic vision resulted in the end product (our final pictures) being better than we could have ever imagined! Throughout the weekend, he was ever present but never obtrusive, and somehow managed to capture the most candid as well as the most important moments effortlessly. Even after the wedding, he made sure to devote time helping us pick the best pictures (an impossible task considering each one was worthy of its own frame) and patiently complied them into a beautiful album. Looking back, hiring Matt was the best decision we made. Thanks to his skill and dedication to his craft, we now have memories that we will cherish for a lifetime! Highly recommend you trusting him and his term with your big celebrations!!
