Booking our photographer was one of the most important decisions we made during wedding planning, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made. I had a very specific vision for our wedding photos and spent a lot of time looking at photographers because I knew exactly what I was looking for. I was starting to worry that I wasn’t going to find someone whose style matched what I had in mind, and then I found Rashelle! From our very first conversation, I knew she understood the vision. She traveled to Charleston for both our engagement session and wedding day, and she was incredible throughout the entire process. Communication was always prompt, professional, and easy, and I never felt like I had to chase down information or wonder what came next. What I appreciated most was that she didn’t just show up and take photos—she genuinely understood the look and feel we were trying to create. The photos feel like us, which was so important to me. She captured all of the emotion, details, and little moments while still staying true to the overall aesthetic we had envisioned from the beginning. She also coordinated a second shooter whose style complemented hers perfectly, which gave us amazing coverage throughout the day while keeping everything cohesive. On top of all of that, she consistently overdelivered. She got both our engagement gallery and wedding sneak peeks back earlier than promised. For our wedding, she estimated about a week for sneak peeks, and we received them just a few days after the wedding. Needless to say, I was absolutely thrilled. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s also organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in her couples. Looking through our photos brings me right back to those moments, and I couldn’t be more grateful. If you’re looking for a photographer who listens to your vision, delivers beautiful images, and goes above and beyond throughout the entire experience, I cannot recommend her enough!!
