Hi Bride + Groom, Congratulations on your engagement! You’ve landed in the right place and I am so excited you’re here! My journey began over 15 years ago with a fascination for colors, textures and the power of makeup. I underwent formal training at The Make Up For Ever Academy in NYC, where I refined my techniques and developed an innate understanding of different skin types and tones. Beyond the brushes and palettes, I am known for my warm and professional demeanor, creating a comfortable atmosphere for clients to express their desires while trusting in my expertise. Rosa is a proud IATSE Local 798 Makeup Artist.

Yes, It is included in all bridal packages! Preview sessions include a thorough consultation in which we discuss your overall vision for your big day and your look inspiration. The appointment typically lasts 2-2.5 hours for hair AND makeup and 1-1.5 hours for hair OR makeup. This appointment may also be scheduled on the same day as your engagement portraits, bridal portraits, bridal shower, final dress fitting or on the date of another special event.

No, gratuity is not included in our pricing but always sincerely appreciated.
Because we book our time, our artists and our supplies in advance, and based on the information provided within your signed service agreement, we recommend that you secure as many “for sure” services as possible. We often book multiple events in one day and potentially may not have the time or artists available to add additional services on the day of your event.
Cancellations may be made up to 90 days before the event date. In the event you decide to cancel your event wishing 89 days or less of the event date, 100% of the total cost of services within your service contract agreement is due upon notice of cancellation.
Yes, I do offer men’s grooming services. This service includes very natural makeup for photography, hair and facial hair styling.
Only during peak weddings dates do I require a She’s a Dream Package or 6 minimum service to book. (March-June & September-November)
No. Please have all family and/or bridal party members make their payments to the responsible party, which is typically the person signing the service contract agreement. That person or responsible party will submit the payment(s) to Rosa Martinez
I book services on a first come, first serve basis. For all wedding and special event services, I require a signed service contract agreement along with either a 50% of the overall balance total or $500 (whichever is lower) as a non-refundable retainer. The final balance total is due (14) days prior to your wedding or event date. Please note that your date is not secured with Rosa Martinez until she has received and approved your signed service contract agreement and retainer, even if you have had a preview appointment.
A Luxury Skin Prep includes light cleanse and exfoliation of the face, neck and décollete plus a combination of high end serums, dry sheet mask, lip exfoliation, lip + under eye mask and moisturizers. This is for Brides who wants delicious & juicy donut glazed skin that translates into a post facial glow type of makeup. The ultimate skin prep for long lasting makeup and makeup that looks like skIn.
For my brides, I include a custom to you makeup application, false lashes, the ultimate glowy skin prep and a small touch up kit plus unlimited communication from inquiry to wedding day. For Bridesmaids, false lashes are included.
As a bride, you deserve to feel your absolute best. My Last Looks Touch-Up Service is designed to keep you looking flawless and feeling stress-free. This service includes hourly touch-ups for both your hair and makeup, ensuring that you stay picture-perfect through every moment. But that’s not all – I’ll be by your side as your personal assistant, making sure everything goes smoothly. From handing you a refreshing glass of water to fluffing your dress, adjusting a tie, or making sure your images are perfect. And if you want a quick hair or makeup change to freshen things up for your reception or an outfit change, I’ve got you covered!
Travel is included for one artist with a booked package within the Charleston Area. Travel is based on your getting ready location and is charged per artist. Any travel over 90 miles (one way), requires hotel accommodations in addition to the travel fee. Please inquire with Rosa for international fees.

    I LOVED Rosa

    I LOVED Rosa. She went above and beyond for me and my bridal party. Also, I looked amazing!! She was there with me, touching everything up. Even stepped in and help my girls when they needed something too. I was so grateful and couldn’t recommend her enough!!! Thank you so much Rosa!

    SPECTACULAR MAKEUP ARTIST

    Rosa did an absolutely STUNNING job on my makeup for my wedding! I am not a makeup girlie and I was very overwhelmed with picking a MUA and my wedding look. But Rosa did such an amazing job and made the whole experience super stress free. She definitely got the vibes for the looks we were going for and all of my bridesmaids LOVED their looks too. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

    My wedding day makeup was flawless!
