Jacob Joyner Photography

Hello! My name is Jacob Joyner. I'm a photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. I started my photography journey in college over 10 years. I was that person that carried a camera everywhere they went. As one naturally does, I became better and better at photography eventually working my way into the commercial world of photography. I started as a retoucher for a fine-art portraiture and eventually worked my way into graduations and sorority bid-day photography. For the past 2 years, I've been completely on my own mainly shooting proposals, weddings, and family photography!

What makes me different is that I shot photography for over 10 years before venturing into portraits and weddings. Because I spend so long honing my craft, I don't merely take photos, I create images. I view taking a great image from 3 different angles: the lighting, the optics, and the posing. All three are foundational to making a beautiful, clean, and memorable image. I also believe that I am exceptionally skilled at the post-processing of those images. Editing is a subtle art-form, and it is all too easy to over-cook an image. My images contain vibrant colors, rich contrasts, and clear focus.
